This hotel is beautiful and designed in sink with the history of the city .
Pros:

It was clean and beautiful. Staff was good. We had a billing issue and Mallory promptly handled it.

Cons:

Not enough parking.

A perfect place to stay. New Orleans without the cost.
Pros:

This place is perfect. Located near Front Street restaurants and bars. The room was great. The bed was the most comfortable I have experienced in a long time. There isn't a restaurant on site, although they do serve a complementary cafeteria style breakfast. The club area is open nightly. The staff was outstanding.

We have stayed there twice both times very disappointed will never stay there again!
Pros:

Location! The lady who served us breakfast was the most cheerful person on the entire property.

Cons:

The property is very old. Not well kept at all. The AC unit cover by the elevator was falling off.

We were here for the Folk festival.
Pros:

First time to ever get an early check in. Bed and room were comfortable. Good grits and coffee for breakfast.

Cons:

Ice machine didn't work and also wasn't working 6 months ago when we were here.

Excellent, excellent, excellent.
Pros:

The staff was excellent excellent excellent.They went out of their way to accommodate my 92 year old grandmother.They even fixed us shrimp and grits... She forgot her hurricane and the housekeeper was stepping to make it downstairs for us to retrieve it. Sheila darius in the pretty white lady that works at night... They all deserve a raise and a trip to the Bahamas!!!!!!

Comfortable and clean but needs fine tuning.
Pros:

Location, lobby, furniture in public areas, front desk clerk who checked us in went the extra mile to accommodate us, loved the community coffee, everything seemed clean

Cons:

Breakfast: needed cheese for grits, eggs too fake tasting; door frame lock was problematic , I was locked in my room several times and unable to get out; staff had to unlock my door. One staff who let me out was quite inhospitable, unfriendly.

The room was literally wet it was so humid. Our floor was slippery like they cleaned with bleach and then the humid made it slick. It smelled of strong bleach. It was gross. Will never stay again.

It was a short walk to front street close to all the restaurants and bars, the room and establishment was very clean and the staff was very nice

Cons:

Are room had a very strong cleaning smell but after a few hours it kind of faded

The night time check in clerk was very nice and helpful. I believe her name was Cassie

Cons:

Sheet would not fit our bed. Way to small. Like they put a queen bottom Sheet on a King bed
