Pros:

The staff were very short staffed but very nice and accommodating.

Cons:

The noise from the road could be heard throughout the night. And wish the restaurant/bar would have been available to use.

I did check out early but no one was there so no way to comm. with any staff at check out by 10:30am. did not get a receipt in email neither if they can resend

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly as well.

Cons:

The bar and restaurant were not open at the time of our stay because the hotel had recently been sold and was under new management.

Pros:

We have been going to the Gould for a few years. It is centrally located to what we want to see and do. Even with new ownership it's still the Gould to us

Cons:

Can't wait for the bar and resturant to be open. We don't eat breakfast there there are 2 great dinners near that we love Connies and Penny's

Modern with a high end feel without the price tag.
Pros:

The Gould Hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. It is just an old brick building. But, the inside is very modern, clean and high end feel about it. The room was large, clean, very modern. Wooden floors, great lighting, and the bathroom was clean and newer. Way nicer than a normal hotel stay. Definitely will be a top pick next time we are in the area.

Location is great! Seneca Falls is lovely and the hotel is right off the main road.

Cons:

The hotel is under new management and short staffed. The restaurant on site is completely shut down. Check in and check out were not smooth because staff are stretched thin doing multiple things.

Hope the new owners can save this place. It could be a gem.
Pros:

The Gould should have been a gem. It's nicely located in Seneca Falls and is in a cool old building. The room was decently sized and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast included in the room price. There was ample parking at the back of the building.

Cons:

The Gould had just changed management. The entry was unkempt and messy. The whole hotel was tired, worn, and a little on the dirty side. The retaurant and bar were closed the whole time and dark. The air conditioner in our room, positioned above the door into the bathroom, dripped constantly and loudly into a plastic waste can positioned on the floor below by staff. The surrounding floor was buckled due to this seemingly ongoing issue. The toilet in the bathroom barely flushed at all.

How friendly the people are and the location was great! Anyone in the area I recommend it.

Cons:

The bed was a little too high up to get into it and it was a little uncomfortable wish they had a couple of chairs in the room so you could sit.the doors to get in hotel I wish were automatic.
