Such a lovely place and excellent friendly service
Pros:

Been here before for a function but didn’t stay and when I saw how lovely it all was booked to stay this time

Disappointed, having been recommended
Pros:

I had been over sold this hotel, not the experience I was expecting. Receptionist rather miserable and the room was not superior by any standard other than larger than average. The wooden furniture was well worn and just lacked a luxury feel.

Cons:

Very cold, receptionist very local, not a warm welcome you would get from a corporate hotel chain

Relaxing Hotel
Pros:

Great spa hotel in country setting, very clean with decent restaurant and health club facilities. Rooms good size with heating and kettle. Nice pool area with beds to relax in. Bed was comfy in room also.

Cons:

Not much to dislike restaurant was a bit pricy but food was good and had quality beers and wines. Staff attentive in restaurant.

Happily stay again in this room type can’t comment on other rooms.
Pros:

Superior room type was spacious gym and
Pool very good. Breakfast was good and onsite restaurant was very good

Cons:

As noted in other reviews sound proofing between rooms etc is not the beat but this is outwith hotel control now.

Mediocre stay
Pros:

Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The spa was fully booked so you couldn't use the facilities and there was no soap in the rooms. It was a bit too pricey but did not deliver what was expected like spa facilities etc.

Pretty bad.
Cons:

Noise from bedroom above continued all night hence no sleep. No soundproof between rooms and floors. Reception informed during the night and again on checkout. Will not stay there again.
