My Place Hotel-Kansas City/Independence Mo

I had a great stay at My Place Hotel in Independence, MO. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. It’s clear the staff takes pride in keeping everything in top shape.

I especially want to recognize Courtney at the front desk—she was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived.

Customer service like that makes all the difference. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Jodi Jenkins was a great front desk worker she made sure all my questions were answered respectfully and in an amazing timely manner, I recommend her every time I tell someone , friends or family about her I have a smile on my face I cannot wait for my next adventure there

Jodie is awesome. She knows my name every time we come down...usually once every month or so. She makes everything comfortable and easy. I just love the warmth she brings to us when we stay...and it is zero degrees outside. Haha

I’ve stayed there before. That’s how I knew to come back! Location is perfect right next to a delicious culverts and many other shopping areas very near by! Super convenient. Atmosphere was lovely, always coffee and always greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. Especially Deja! She is so pleasant and helpful! Rooms are perfectly cleaned. Microwave, toaster, and two little stove tops for personal cooking. Lobby always clean. And the value is right in mine and my husband’s price range especially for all that is accompanied with it. Laundry room very clean and also not expensive. Just $5 for wash and dry! I recommend highly!

The receptionist was great even at 1:30 in the am. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable

I liked the room, it was accessible to the exit and easy to get in and out. It was pretty clean but there was a weird odor in the room. We used spray to make the room smell better.

Supremely FANTASTIC!!

No one cleaned room on my second day there. Had person in room next to me who’s dog barked all night. Staff did nothing. Beds were dirty.

Very nicely refurbished property at an excellent price.

The front desk was very friendly and communicated well. My only complaint was that when I went to take a shower there was no shampoo and no body wash so that was very awkward. That’s a really small thing, but otherwise the bed was really comfortable and it was all very clean.
