Southgate Residence Hotel

Sehr netter junger Mitarbeiter, der englisch spricht und sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht war , uns bei der Suche nach einem Taxi zu helfen .

Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen das Zimmer war groß hell und sauber .der Pool war super .das einzige es ist ein bischen abgelegen aber ich hatte ein moped so das ich alles super erreichen konnte. Ich werde das Hotel im Dezember auf jedenfall wieder buchen .das Frühstück war auch gut

Grate place to stay and relax

Very clean and almost brand new hotel

The hotel located in out skirt of the city so it’s easy to get to, parking is plentiful, check in was easy. The room smells a bit musty and bathroom was really dark. But the bed is comfortable and the ac works. 5 minutes drive into town so it’s easy to find food. Very good size pool, lots of kids playing in it so be aware of noise but by 8 pm it was quiet. Breakfast was good, a lot of choices. If I’m in the area I’ll definitely stay here again.?

Ca sent le moisi partout , il y des lézards et toiles d’araignées dans la chambre. Il manque besucoup d’entretien et quoi dire du déjeuner desastreux

Very nice comfortable hotel. Great breakfast buffet! Pool nice but being used in the afternoon for swim lessons so a quiet read by the pool out. It was fun to watch the kids learning to swim

vi var på tur fra HuaHin på vej sydpå og lavede et stop på Southgate, hvor vi fandt alt det man kan forvente på et hotel og langt mere end man kan forvente til en ret lav pris. Dejligt, stort værelse, supersøde menensker, skøn pool. Eneste minus en lidt kold morgenmadsrestaurant

Always stay here when the frogs are mating outside the bedroom 2k away, but always clean and comfortable.....

Friendly staff, however due to language barrier hard to get what you need. No food on site 30mins walk from night food market. Bike rent is great. Lovely rural area with beatiful views.

Although the staff didn’t speak great English they really tried there best to help us with whatever we needed!! Would come again

This is a great value modern hotel. Nice spacious comfortable rooms. Lovely pool. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was all cold (i.e hot food which had been allowed to go cold), but the nice young girl did cook us some fresh fried eggs when asked. Happy to recommend this hotel.

Overnight on a drive back to Bkk and found this hotel an excellent choice. Great value for money.

We stayed one night when passing through. We had booked a deluxe room with 2 queen beds, and it said it was for 4 persons in the booking. We are family with 3 children, 14, 12 and 7 years. So we expected to pay extra for the fifth person. When we came they forced us to book yet an other room with 3 beds. Because they thought the 4 person room wasn't enough. So we ended up paying for 7 beds. When I complained about this they were not willing to help us. They just blamed hotels.com. They could not fix anything. They even said that it was reasonable for us to have the extra room because our kids are so big and tall. I asked for the manager and was not allowed to speak to him/her. But I think she was there talking to me already. Because eventually after arguing for a long time she said we were beeing anoying and said they could give us 140 bath back! We pay over 2000 bath for the rooms. Over 1000 bath each. They could not refund because the bookings were made with hotels.com. And they didn't want too either. So it's obvious that they want to make money on the farangs. And they don't no nothing about how their partnership with hotels.com works. And they don't understand that if they make a mistake the customer should not be the one paying. They need to clean their own mess up. This was poorly handled and we will never go back. They had a vwry bad attitude in the reception.

The hotel doesn't provide dinning facilities.
