I was charged for a premium view room on 2nd floor. I would not rate it as premium. You could barely see the gulf because the roof blocked the view of the property.

We chose this Hyatt Place because our last stay at the Hyatt Place in Gary, Indiana and other cities were excellent. The room was very clean, so we expected the same here.
Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The first room was dirty and had no water because of plumbing man was working, which we were never told about. We were moved to another room and told it had been double-checked and inspected but also never told us about brown water after plumbing work. The bathroom floor behind the door was still dirty, the walls had stains, the wallpaper was peeling, missing floor trimming and missing side bed lamp and noticed, the hallway doors were all badly scuffed as you walk through to the room .
Most of all, there were unknown splash stains on the walls and the bed headboard. Honestly, that really threw me off—I didn't even feel comfortable resting my head against the headboard.
The receptionist did try to help, and I appreciate that. But honestly, is basic cleanliness not the standard here? After a 13-hour drive for our vacation, my husband didn't even shower the first night because the water was still brown after the plumbing work.
We chose this hotel because of our previous great Hyatt Place experience, so this was especially disappointing. I hope management takes the cleanliness and housekeeping issues seriously.

It was 2 nights 3 stays, but we left without second night stay.

Overall everything was great except for the hot tub.
Pros:

Room was great! Some breakfasts weren't great others were great! There was plenty of food and a good selection. Still upset about the hot tub not working in the early evenings. Don't know why it seemed to run great in the mornings as I walked by. I really needed it after dinner after a day of walking.

Cons:

In the evenings the hot tub did not work and was a bit dirty. I did soak in the hot water as that did help relax the muscles a bit.

Pros:

Room was very comfortable. We had our grandchildren with us.

Cons:

Well, when we checked in what I didn't like was to go to the bathroom and put the toilet lid down, and it had feces smeared all over the top, but I went and talked to the staff and the one gentleman that was getting off work came and cleaned it for us. He was very nice. And had taken care of it. Other than that problem, everything was okay.

Exceeded my expectations
Pros:

Would definitely stay here again. Very clean hotel; excellent breakfast; very friendly staff. My only suggestion is to request a higher floor than 3 unless you don't mind looking out the window to the rooftop.

Pros:

Gulf view was ok

Cons:

Sofa in our room was dirty and worn out. Shower head was not the best. Air conditioner was loud. Breakfast was a disappointment.potatoes were not done .grits had no taste whatsoever. French toast was not good. We had to leave and go buy breakfast.

L’amabilité du personnel, chambre spacieuses, emplacement, petit déjeuner

Cons:

Propreté limite, tâches apparentes moquette, murs, canapés. La chambre n’a pas été faite durant notre séjour de 4 nuits, même après l’avoir demandé. On m’a dit que c’était d’usage à Biloxi. De mon côté, je n’ai pas trouvé cette information dans la politique d’Hyatt.
