A great stay! My daughter and I stayed here for the first night of her 21st birthday trip! This was our 2nd stay at a Hyatt Place, and we were very pleased. It was located on a major highway and was easy to find. There was a mall very close by, and the beach was across the street. The room was clean, the parking was ample, and the staff was great!

When we tried to check in, the receptionist couldn’t find our reservation. I called booking.com multiple times (got hung up on twice) for them to tell me that if the hotel couldn’t find the reservation in 30 minutes they were going to cancel it. We told them not to wait and go ahead with the cancellation. I ended up having to book directly through the hotel’s website. This was not something I wanted to deal with after a 8 hour drive.

No pool towels
We stayed here for one night on the way to New Orleans. The hotel staff was friendly and the hotel itself was extremely clean. Our room was large and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel for a quick stay as we did or for an extended time period.
Still a good place to stay but has went downhill a bit over the last year from its former glory. There has been a major staff overturn in the past year or so and the quality is not as good as it was for many years.
