Comfortable and convenient, but poor communication
Pros:

Comfortable apartment, well equipped and wonderful view of Brisbane skyline. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.
Downsides were that the rooftop pool was in shadow for much of the day, so was too cool to use.
Communication with the hotel was poor - we let them know we’d be arriving after 5pm (when reception closes) and asked for check in information to be forwarded to us. This didn’t happen. We were only able to access the property by googling to find the head office number and liaising with them to get access to the apartment.

Great apartment and location
Pros:

Really nice apartment close to the South Bank and all the lovely bars. Check in and out was easy. Apartment have all the facilities needed

Pretty standard room to be honest. Guy on reception let me into the carpark then I got to reception and there was a note saying back soon. So I had to wait nearly 15 minutes, let he knew I was about to come and check in.

Construction over the road so very loud from 7am. Tv was basic had a Netflix button but did not work. Bathroom was dirty , dirty mirror. Bed wasn’t made properly. Pool was freezing cold. Could be good as the location is ok. Just basic and there are much better options in Brisbane.

It was a wonderful stay as a first timer visiting Brisbane except for one thing that is very important especially in time of any calamities. I was there during the cyclone Alfred, the apartment was not equipped with emergency lights inside the unit not even a flashlight if in case of a power outage amidst of a calamity. Though nothing happened but what if something happened? Overall the place was very convenient almost to everything and it’s a comfortable place to stay in ….

The property wasn’t very clean. Just walking around inside left us with black feet. Balcony furniture was all broken and not usable. 2 little dishwashing sachets for 4 people for 2 nights isn’t enough. We had to buy our own sugar and toilet paper as well. Wouldn’t recommend

While the check in and parking access were very good, the condition of the apartment was unacceptable. 3 dirty glasses is inappropriate, dirty furniture, dents and scuffs in walls. Do yourself a favour and spend the xtra $$ to stay at Meriton.

Nice property in a great location. Clean with great bed. The kitchen has limited cookware and kitchen accessories. Wanted to use the oven but there is no pans etc to use so couldn’t use it.

Lovely stay in South Bank
Pros:

Apartment was spacious and well-equipped. The balcony was not very appealing, but was handy for hanging swimmers and towels. The rooftop pool was so lovely! The location was great - nearby GOMA, Messina (best gelato ever!), Chu the Phat, Pig & Whistle (with live music) and the South Bank parklands and pool. Would happily book here again.
