Although through no fault of yours, when my out of town guest arrived she could not check in...computer down. Facility was clean & nice she did mention some kind of noise issue, I am not sure what she was referring to...if necessary I could follow up and ask her to explain.
And, because it was Carnation Festival week in Alliance I had arranged for carnations to be put in her room....she did not get them! She was the featured keynote speaker at Mount Union College.
Every year I book a speaker for the festival, this is the first time I have used Hampton Inn in Alliance.
I appreciated the kindness of the staff. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Everything was good and comfortable.
I felt the overall service was great with the exception of housekeeping. They changed towels and took trash but did not restock in room coffee station or wipe down services.
The room was great and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was wonderful.
There was a harmonica player playing music for breakfast. It was very delightful but someone told him he had to stop playing.
Room was recently remodeled. The entire hotel was clean. Great breakfast as well.
If you aren't paying attention to the Wendy's sign at the road, you'll probably drive past the hotel.
Woke up in the room at 2am, laying on top of the sheets and sweating. The air conditioner was not running. I got out of bed and checked the thermostat on the wall, and the thermostat was displaying a message the the "room was unoccupied". So, it had turned the air conditioning off. This happened twice during the night. Apparently, Hampton will ruin your night's sleep in a $150 a night room, to save themselves a few dollars in electricity.
The room also did not have a clock on the nightstand. The only clock in the room was the clock on the small display of the microwave, which I had to put my glasses on to read.
The pool and hot tub were also closed to renovations. This was not mentioned when I made my reservation on the Hampton Inn website. Only learned it from a sign on the front desk during check in.
And of course, the building was built so cheaply, that we could hear the people in the room above us, walking across the floor.
The overall experience was not worth what I spent.

These are very minor but the pillows were uncomfortable and the TV was in an awkward position and didn’t swivel so if you wanted to watch TV on the couch or bed you had to actually move the tv instead of being able to swivel it to where you wanted it
I like the location of the hotel
The breakfast in the morning wasn't the greatest. Could have gotten a better meal at Burger king. When I initially got to hotel (after 3pm) they told me they didnt have a room ready yet. Check in is 3pm. Sheets were not put on bed correctly, so they kept popping off the mattress all night. Pillows were like thing pancakes. Woke up with a stiff neck.
I was at the hotel for three days of which they never made the bed. Housekeeping does the bare minimum, they changed out towels, they never took the trash nor did they ever make the bed. Also, there is a big crack where the maintenance department caulked the cracked tub. The rough looking outside my window is delaminating, and there was a long hair in the shower. I would suggest the Hampton and Canton. They charge me over $1048.00 and poor housekeeping, and I was in a suit.
I was there for a couple of weeks due to business. I had some issues with noise the first week but they found a much quieter room for me after the one night. They even made sure I had a quiet room for my second week. Great people, overall pretty quiet and one of my better hotel stays. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I was ever back in Alliance.
The staff is always so kind and helpful
We were not aware that the property’s pool was under construction. The only reason we went. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We then had to pay extra to go to the community pool and pay their entrance fee. You need to update this information through all booking sites
