The staff were very kind and welcoming.
Didn’t even see your breakfast
Everything was very old and needed replacing or painting

Friendly staff, loaner floaties for the water
It is a little dated but wasn’t a deal breaker. Would suggest if the unit has a kitchen, make sure it has basic cooking items and the appliances work. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.
The staff were great. They were helpful, accommodating, and friendly. For short notice the price was adequate.
The place was surface clean and outdated.
To have a breakfast in the hotel.
Uphill walking to the hotel.
I absolutely loved this property! We stayed here recently for my mom’s birthday, and the experience was unforgettable. When we arrived, we were chosen for their spin-the-wheel special and ended up winning an early 11 a.m. check-in with their best ocean-view suite. It was such a wonderful surprise! The room was spotless, very comfortable, and so relaxing. The staff was amazing always welcoming and friendly, greeting us with smiles every time. My mom had the best birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that asks me for good hotels in Catalina.
The only thing I would mention is the walk up it was pretty steep and definitely felt like a workout. I know that’s not something the property can change, and honestly, it just added to the “fun times” of the trip. Definitely not a dealbreaker, and I’d still book again without hesitation for my next stay!
Staff were so nice and friendly and awesome!
For probably like $50 more you could stay somewhere actually decent. This was just so mediocre. Bathroom was gross. Bad lighting. So many loud mechanical whirring sounds all the time. In the middle of the night it sounded like the upstairs unit was dragging furniture around?! Price difference from a good hotel was just not worth it.
The staff was nice and the Jacuzzi was clean.
The worst mattress I've ever slept on. The rooms are so outdated. The premises did not look like the pictures. Need to totally update the building or show up to date pictures. For the money spent, I should've spent a lot more somewhere else.
Beautiful views
Nothing
Clean, kind staff. Spacious. View was gorgeous! Got upgraded to ocean view. My birthday is in October and ironically all of the photos in the room for decor were from October. Felt like it was meant to be! Would stay again.
This place is rundown and falling apart. I will not stay here again. Rooms are old and dated and the exterior needs major work including some simple things like cutting the grass. Total dump.
Close to everything
Nothing We're ok what it looks like
No breakfast
I rarely complain about motel rooms. But this one Room 106 was small, dimly lit, next to the dumpsters and had no heat source that's were able to make operable. Since we were only there for 1 night and less than 24 hours, I did not ask for a different room. Friends of ours were on the 3rd and 4th floors and their rooms were really pretty nice and had views. Our room had no view except for the guys in the hot tub outside our room that my wife was enjoying. For $300 it was a very poor deal. Maybe the property owners will give us a free night on our next stay to make up for it.
My husband booked and paid for this hotel for two nights for my birthday. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was free. I felt sorry for the staff, who did their best to apologize for delays on checking in and the "not ready yet" room. Oh, you can check in early, if you pay a $$fee (on top of the surprise check in ''resort fee" )But even then, your room won't be available because there isn't enough staff to clean the rooms. We finally got our room key at 4:30 pm. I was shocked to see the condition of our room with a view. Poor lighting, horrifying smell (we kept the broken sliding glass door open for hours to air it out). No way to open the blinds to enjoy the view (they were installed that way on purpose), missing bath tiles, rusty drains, cabinet falling apart. Even the shower handle was installed backwards. Took five minutes of cold water draining from the hot (H) side, until I went to shut it off, and it got warm on the (C)cold side! I think the worst was that several rooms on our floor had shattered windows and sliding doors. Poorly repaired with epoxy applied over the long cracks, and film applied. Obviously the building is probably shifting (it's on a hill) because so many rooms had the long cracked windows and doors. Also, the noise from the floor above us was relentless, and you could hear them peeing! Truly, the owner needs to repair, remodel, or destroy and start over. He shouldn't be able to take anyone's money for what is provided. Oh, and no staff on the premises at night, so you'll be on your own when those windows shatter. Best to pay a little more for a 4 or 5 star hotel.
