Bold Hotel Jakarta

Price was excellent. Rooms were clean. AC worked very well. The old man was very helpful and patient.

It took me 15 mins to check in because of presumably some problem with other visitor.
When taking more than 10 mins to check in, I hope staff inform me about estimated time to wait. I feel like it's waste of time to wait.

Affordable price. Stay during peak season - Eid Mubarak, but got cheap rate. All about this hotel are above than the other same price budget hotels.
Pros :
1. Room toiletries are enough. They provide Soap, shampo, dental kit. Shampoo was good considering that my hair is sensitive but okay while using it.
2. Room has safety deposit box, tv channels including HBO and Cinemax which are plus for me, air conditioner (not noisy like many budget hotel).
3. They provide 2 bottles of complimentary water everyday plus water dispenser in every floor where you could get free flow cold and hot water.
4. There is no restaurant at this hotel but so many good place to eat near by hotel. Even many legendary culinary place are very close. And they allow you to borrow plate and cutlery.
5. They set a good mug in room, when many other budget hotel only provide disposable cup.
6. 24hrs Circle K just beside of hotel.
7. This hotel very close to Old City Jakarta Tourist place.

Will I recommend this hotel to friends? : Yes.
Will I stay back again? : Yes.
As someone who work in hospitality and been visit Jakarta so many times, this Hotel is beyond my expectation.

This good hotel, the staff and security is very friendly. Good room and near this hotel have many food mini market. And near train stasion not bad for 2 star hotel. Maybe I will come back again for stay soon

I really mean it, I mean about the title of this review. This is a small hotel phisically, and no breakfast offered also.
But, hold on dudes, this hotel gives you a REAL VALUE OF YOUR MONEY.
For the amount of money you paid for, you get basic facilities, AC, clean towels, basic toiletteries, handy location to almost everything, cleanliness, hospitalities of the staffs, what else could you ask for? Try it, then you will understand what I mean. 👍 .

Room is really clean, there was water dispenser in each floor (free cold/hot water), staff is so friendly and welcoming, everything is good, really worth it, you get more than you pay, maybe the best hotel with the same price in the area

Stayed in a double room which was incredibly clean and modern, probably the best place I have stayed in on my Asia trip so far. HBO on the tv , the bed was very comfy and the staff were very friendly and keen to talk to you. The shower was also very good. For the price was an absolute bargain I would 100% recommend this place

The room is clean and strong Wifi make your stay comfortable. There is 24 hours shop near this hotel, near train station, and shopping mall(300m something). Also strategic location between Monas and Kota Tua if you wish to travel by train.

A big thank you to the staff here who made my stay great! They were so friendly and smiley, they couldnt do enough for you and they were extremely helpful. They even organised to get my laundry done when I asked them even though this isnt something they usually offer! The room was lovely, a bit small but just right for me on a stopover stay. There was free water, clean towels daily and a safe in the room! I loved the artwork which is in the lobby and rooms, it really added to the personality of the place and made it very memorable. The room was very clean, brilliant wifi signal and the tv in the bedroom had film channels on which helped pass the time. In terms of location, there isnt actually anything to do in the neighbourhood or many places to eat, although there is a Dominos pizza a 5minute walk away and a small supermarket right next door so for a short stopover stay, the location didnt matter too much. The big shopping mall, with international brands like HnM and Forever 21 and a gigantic food quarter was a very cheap taxi ride away, it cost £2 with Uber, although beware of Jakartas infamous traffic jams, the 20mins journey took us 90!

This hotel has to be the best value in Jakarta. The rooms are small - but they are in excellent condition, the beds are super comfortable, everything is clean and well maintained and looks new. The staff are really nice. The wifi was strong and reliable - even better than my apartment in Singapore which is pretty sad. If you are white, everybody will probably think you are a sex tourist because the Mangga Besar neighborhood is... colorful. But it's got good people watching and good Bakmi can be had everywhere for cheap. Centrally located, so you can be in Thamrin in 15 minutes and also a stone's throw from the old colonial part of town. It is a bit far from the trendy upscale places like Pacific Place, but you need to weigh that into the price. As a reasonably centrally located super cheap but high quality hotel, I doubt there is better value for money in this city.

Located in the city center, Bold Hotel is a great place to stay in Jakarta. I spent three nights here was happy at how friendly the staff are and how convenient the location was. Monas and the National Museum are less than 15 minutes away, maybe 25 considering Jakarta'a notorious traffic jams. The hotel itself was small and right next to a busy street however the rooms inside were cozy and I never had a problem with outside being too noisy. Wifi was decent, no breakfast, bed was comfortable, bathroom had the softest towels I've ever encountered. Overall if you're looking for a budget hotel that's close to the city center then Bold Hotel is your best option.

We stayed here for two nights. Hotel is located to in a convenient place. Close to super markets and restaurants. Easy to get a cab/tuk.

The rooms are small but they are super clean. They have comfortable beds and we had good sleep. Love the hotel design. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great value for money and we enjoyed our stay.

New artistic hotel opened few months ago. Super comfy beds and good quality towels. Aircon is freezing cold and you have thick blankets that can keep you warm. A minor power outrage is common during rainy season.

Wifi is slower than a 4G phone. Location nearby many street food and decent food places.

Super friendly staffs!

I would have given them a 5 if they had not assigned a wrong room type and requested me to pay the difference in cost.
