Value for money when it comes to location.
Pros:

Walking distance to Nagano Station. Warm rice, curry and coffee for breakfast. Fast check-in, working air-con with heater function. Desk light is bright enough to compensate for poor lightning in room. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly, luggage keeping service after check-out is much appreciated.

Cons:

Towel should be of better quality. Carpet in lift and rooms should be better maintained. Blanket should be more comfortable to keep warm in winter. Vintage radio wake-up system with NHK channel next to bed should be repaired.

Well priced for a convient stay.
Pros:

The hotel staff were really professional and efficient. There is a compliementary breakfast of some local breads and curry. The hotel is a quick walk away from the station so it made travel very efficient. Overall it was a good price for the room in a convient location that served it's purpose since we had a lot of plans outside.

Cons:

The room was a bit dated. There was dust in a lot of places and the bathtub had a dent in it. There were small flies (3-5) that appeared in the bathroom which we were not sure where it came from.
