Would definitely stay here again at this little gem in Tenterfield.

Coming back/ bringing my family.
Pros:

A beautiful, secluded escape with stunning walks nearby. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and the lovely surprise of local apple juice was a special touch. The owners were so warm and friendly, making us feel very welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning to come back!

Heritage property in downtown Tenterfield
Pros:

We were attracted by the external appearance of the hotel and its description as an art deco building. It’s well located on the main street of Tenterfield, and in close walking distance to various interesting shops, including food, clothing and antiques. The room was large and comfortable, with two comfortable armchairs and a large bed.
We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Parking at the rear of the property was appreciated.

Everything was tasteful and well appointed.

staff wonderful. food and drinks exceptional. renovation after hotel being closed for years has retained all of the original 194o's atmosphere. it is like being in 1940!!

Perfect stay in central Tenterfield for a short stay.
Pros:

Classic room adjoining the main part of the hotel where we had dinner that night.
We had an accessible room right on Commercial Road - although we didn’t require one, it would be perfect for anyone requiring easy access or in a wheelchair.

Fabulous overnight stay on the way home to QLD

Lovely pet friendly Facility
Pros:

A lovely hotel in the middle of town and around the corner from the Tenterfield Saddler. Michelle was very friendly and we could not have had a better place to stay and dine with our little dog.
Highly recommend.

Pleasant and clean if you dont mind hearing trucks and cars pass through during the night.
Pros:

Close to all the shops in the main street

Cons:

Noisy at night with trucks passing through. Bit of a hassle to carry bags from the car to the room as the car is parked at the back and we had to carry everything around the building into the main street and to the room

A Pleasant Stay.
Pros:

We loved the fact that the hotel has been renovated to its former glory. The bathroom was lovely, as were the bathroom products.

Cons:

For the price, we were a bit disappointed in the room. It was quite small and we couldn't really see outside. Our food for dinner at the restaurant was also disappointing and the fire was hardly going most of the evening. We acknowledge that the staff were busy, but it was a shame. Sorry to have to say this because we really like the fact that someone has restored the hotel.
