We had a lovely stay in a charming and historic town.
Pros:

Our dinner was superb. My wife had the beef cheek and I had the eye fillet cutlet.

Person who was letting guests in was updating her phone when I made my booking and so I wasn't let in at late checkin and had to sleep in the cold in my car.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience at this venue
Pros:

Staff were very accommodating and helpful - nothing was too much trouble - food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing we stayed 3 nights and every meal we had was fantastic quality- on the Friday night they even had a gentleman playing the piano whilst we ate - we have already booked our next stay there in October

Cons:

No opportunity to open windows, front door and window (that can’t be open) to street which is noisy. Odd that rules prohibit eating in the room.

Lovely old country pub and good location to walk around town
Pros:

Location was central
Bed was comfortable

Cons:

Was offered a room upgrade for additional cost with mountain views however this was unnecessary as windows were high set and not really a relevant reason to upgrade given this room was also quite narrow
