Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous. It's a cosy little hotel very near to the city centre. I would call it an ideal location. The staff is very helpful and polite. The rooms are a delight.
We loved the breakfast as well, simple and tasty.
This hotel has been the highlight of our trip to Italy.

I love the architecture and the location and the staff are always helpful.

Cons:

This is my second visit and I wish they had a Nespresso machine or kettle in the room. They offer coffee in the lounge area but it’s not great and sits there for a long while. Also, first thing in the morning I use wan the ability to sit and have a coffee in bed or a mint tea before bed. Most hotels offer this as standard.
Booked the tower suite and there was no air conditioning in the tower which made it extremely hot.

Ci sono alcune pecche che inficiano sul soggiorno in una struttura così bella
Pros:

palazzo d’epoca al centro della città e vicino a tutto. Stanze enormi, puliti eleganti e ben curate.

Cons:

Innanzitutto il personale, poco accogliente (e dopo tanti soggiorni a Firenze è la prima volta che mi capita) e poco attento al cliente, un po’ asettico e indifferente e poi la colazione, poco variegata, sia a livello di cibo che a livello di bevande. Se la colazione è servita dalle 8 alle 10 ci si aspetta che si venga serviti subito e invece dopo essere andate una prima volta alle 8 in cui non c’era nessuno, né a servire nè alla reception, una seconda in cui ancora non c’era nessuno (non mi sembra opportuno che sia il cliente a dover andare alla reception per chiedere di aver servita la colazione), finalmente alla terza volta dopo 5 min è arrivata la ragazza della reception a portarci due cornetti, un pezzo di torta, due pesche, due yogurt e pane e marmellata. Non viene servito nemmeno un caffè fatto sul momento, ma del caffè americano da un bricco che stava lì dal pomeriggio precedente. Capisco che il costo della colazione è di 5 euro e non mi aspetto una colazione da re, ma in una residenza d’epoca così curata ed elegante è un peccato scadere in un servizio così importante come la colazione. Inoltre il sito ufficiale deve essere aggiornato perché lì è riportato che la colazione è a buffet e che vi è un bar H24, quando invece su booking è riportato il contrario. la bellezza delle stanze deve essere eguagliata da altrettanta cura nei servizi.

Very happy with my choice!
Pros:

The smell of the place is really beautiful. Before leaving we went to the perfume shop downstairs and bought the same one. Air-con functions super good! Especially important as we were traveling in July when it was 38 degrees. Good location, walking distance to almost everything and easy to take a break during the day when need.

Cons:

Lift quite old. Works but a little scary for me. I used stairs most of the time

Helt underbart litet hotell, högt upp i en fantastiskt vacker byggnad. Mitt i centrala Florens med närhet till allt. Jättetrevligt mottagande på plats och möjlighet till parkeringsservice. Vårt rum var magiskt!

Cons:

Frukosten var helt ok men inte toppen. Typiskt söt italiensk frukost.

Beautiful and elegant property in a fantastic location. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the charming historic style of the building.
