Great views, but terrible dining and dishonest handling
Pros:

Beautiful and very clean hotel . Located on a mountain, the hotel offers stunning views of both the sea and the city from the room.

Cons:

The dining experience was a complete letdown. The main dish arrived with burnt, bitter fish skin and was inedible. We had to ask for a replacement ourselves, and the second dish was even worse. No real apology, no urgency, and no sign that anyone cared — which was surprising for a hotel at this level.
At check-out, we raised the issue and were promised a partial refund of 23,000 yen. In the end, we received only about 9,000 yen
This reflects poorly on both the food quality and the hotel’s integrity. The way this was handled felt misleading and unprofessional. Not the standard you would expect from a hotel like this.

Our highlight as far as accommodation in 5 weeks travelling Japan
Pros:

Ambiance, View, luxury, attention to every possible detail . The food was incredible 6 course breakfast & 8 course dinner,unbelievable

Cons:

The access from the city, although fine with GPS it’s still a bit of a challenge but the view made it worth the drive.

Relaxing hotel before city exploring!
Pros:

The hotel was amazing! We had a private onsen room, which was very relaxing before having beautiful 5 course dinners in the hotel restaurant. The staff were so kind and friendly to us. We don’t speak Japanese but we were made to feel very welcome.
