Good hotel in a great location with nearby subway access and walking distance to the major attractions in DC. Good service from check in desk (relocated us to a quieter floor, as we were originally under the rooftop bar and had arrived from a long int'l flight).
Room was smaller than expected (knew it would be small but it was very small!). For this reason we would probably seek out a different hotel if returning to DC.
Lizeth made my experience incredible. I had an early arrival and she helped me check in and accommodated everything I needed while staying here.

The rooms are small but clean and functional. It was just what I needed for a busy work trip in DC. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Marcus and Darryl. I would recommend staying here to any solo traveler.
Excellent customer service from Darryl at the front desk. He was kind, patient (when I had to change my room and my keycard didn’t work) and welcoming.

Sofia, Lamek, Sean, Jessica, Adelphia, Daryl and the whole Motto staff are great and very professional! I stay here frequently for work and always a great experience. Very comfortable and centrally located. Great food and drink. Can’t beat the price for DC. Highly recommend.
Great experience and first time staying at a micro hotel. Enjoyed the clean and modern rooms. I accidentally booked my stay a day early and Marcus/Sofia did an amazing job helping me correct the issue. They went out of their way to make me feel like a valued Hilton Honors member. Thank you and I will definitely stay again!
Nothing
We checked out after seeing the room. It was as small as a bathroom. The bed was small for 2 people.
It was within walkable distance of everything in downtown Washington DC, also very close to Capital One arena
The pictures of the rooms are deceiving, the single bed fills up the entire room, there is nowhere to move, my husband and I were tripping over our suitcases the entire weekend. Also there is nowhere to park outside the hotel to check in or bring your luggage in because we parked outside the hotel and street cameras charged us a $100 traffic ticket
The hotel is small but very comfortable. The service is great. Lizeth and Sofia assisted me and they were very nice at all times. The location is perfect, in Chinatown, were you have a lot of options to eat nearby and also a metro station. The hotel has a restaurant and they do happy hour! The rooms are very nice with everything that you need. I highly recommend this place if you come to DC!
