Wonderful hotel very close to the castle. Breakfast was a great treat to wake up to in the morning!
Great hotel in a perfect spot for visiting the castles. The breakfast and dinner were good at the hotel restaurant with lovely views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The parking spot was also great since only paid lots are around. The rooms were comfortable and had nice views.
Fabulous hotel in centre of a beautiful town. You can easily walk to both castles if you are ok with small hills.
Hotel evening meal too expensive.
Excellent meal at Hotel Alpenstuben just a few minutes away.
Perfect location to visit castles
The service was really great, with staff members going out of their way to help us and making sure everything went smoothly. The room was super spacious, with furniture, a comfy bed, and an awesome view. It was spotless, cleaned to a high standard, with fresh linens and a cozy vibe.
Beautiful room! Excellent food with breakfast included & free parking. Was close to everything we wanted to do & the staff was very friendly & helpful!
Very friendly staff with easy check in/out. Room is large with large bathroom. Comfy pillows and comforter. Had door to balcony with table/chairs. Bistro was glass enclosed with castle view. Horse carriage pickup is right outside the hotel. Town is very crowded during the day with bus tours but cleared out by 5. Public bathroom is 1 euro and disgusting. Both men and woman used either one, the floor are wet (didn’t rain!) but the worst is the smell that hits you after you pay the euro to enter. If you can wait til the hotel then do!!
Perfect place to stay if you’re seeing Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwangua. Beautiful property & location. Great staff. The hotel is right next to Hohenschwangua, you can be at the castle in 5-10 min & a 25-40 min walk to Neuschwanstein. Restaurant was great, lots of shops around.
Great location, wonderful dining
We loved this hotel! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and perfectly appointed. The restaurant served fantastic food. We were within walking distance of both castles. Our parking was included and very convenient. We hate to leave! Thank you for a lovely stay.
The hotel would have got 5 stars but the dinner service was not to the standards of the rest of the staff. I made a reservation. When I got there there were two tables out of 40? occupied. As a single o was shown possible the worst table in the place. I asked if I could sit at a window. I was told no they were all reserved. Then she came back and told me I could have a window seat which was great. However she made me feel like had done something wrong and service was very cold and I enjoyable. Thx.
The room was large and comfortable with a lovely terrace.
The restaurant was superb. Staff was friendly and helpful. All around excellent!
The best place to stay for access to the castles. In house parking makes it a lot easier as well. They offer a discount on the souvenir shop as well.
This is a nice hotel to stay when visiting the area. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, excellent location, and good breakfast.
Easy parking, check in was good, staff helped us with tickets to castle and info, room was not what I was expecting in a bad way! Think hostel/student acc, it was tiny, no key for safe, hideous red blinds and lampshade, uncomfortable pillows, and noisy even though there are two doors to get into room, the view from the window was of the roof of building below, tried to get a different room but wasn’t available,
This place has two saving graces, the view of the castle from the restaurant whilst eating fabulous food, and the staff who were very professional,
Perfect location for accessing Neuschwanstein Castle, the walking path to the castle is right across the road! Very traditional interior but comfortable enough. Breakfast was very comprehensive and the service welcoming.
Nicer buffet breakfast selection
Views from dining area
Staff especially helpful for ignorant English speaking people
Even though their lot was full, they handled our car parking
This is the best spot to visit the castles from. It’s also very chic and offers a great stay for anyone who is interested! The only drawback is no blackout curtains.
We had a wonderful stay at Müller. Very convenient location if you want to go to the castle. The horse ride is literally across the street. The rooms are great with that old world german charm. Its a perfect place that goes with the castle theme. The staff was wonderful and fantastic guides. We ate at the restaurant there and their snitzel was really good. Great deserts. We ate there our entire stay. Even bought an authentic cuckoo clock there. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to the area. They also have free parking for guest which is a plus.
It’s a hotel more than 100 years old. The whole building is still with an old structure so it gives historical feeling which is interesting. And there’s no AC which is not too bad cause the place is cool. The staffs are friendly and looks happy. But there’s only one person in the reception, if she gets busy and needed to leave the desk, you’ll have to wait and don’t know when she will be back. Breakfast was ok. But I would stay since it still costed $400+ for a three star hotel.
