Stayed here before Shrewsbury half marathon. Initially quite noisy but settled down by the time we were trying to sleep and overall was pretty comfortable.

Unfortunately breakfast doesn't start until 9 on the weekend which was too late for us to have before the half which was disappointing. Would be nice to have an earlier option if possible even if it's just a continental option.

Friendly & warm welcome the staff were fab. Lovely room spotlessly clean & comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Great location for exploring Shrewsbury will definitely return.

For the cost this isn't good enough. Small room not the cleanest and broken radiator cover. Shower controls very stiff. No rubbish collected from the room during the two night stay. Breakfast just coffee, juice and a cooked option.

Check in was with bar staff. Front desk person not around. Breakfast was promised 0730-0930 but at 0745, the restaurant was still locked with a note telling late check ins to call a number. I couldn’t wait any longer to see if breakfast was indeed served as I had a train to catch. The train station is very convenient to this hotel.

Amazing place to staff and the manager was excellent, very helpful. Breakfast was superb.

Staff amazing but twice I've stayed in the bottom floor room next to the beer garden and it's noisy in the evening and can hear the bar chucking glass in the bins.
Not to mention anyone in the beer garden can see into the room if curtains are not shut.
TV didn't work at all.

The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay

Great position in Central Shrewsbury, parking was across the road, Staff was amazing and the breakfast in the morning was lovely but the carpet had quite a few stains and there were lots of light bulbs that were not working, but apart from that i would stay there again.

Good:Close to train station. Large room. Not so good:Roll down blinds broken. No soap or shampoo in shower containers. Bed lumpy.

A terrible place. Noisy, dirty, mould in the shower. We only stayed one night.

Very good stay, excellent location, breakfast was amazing and food very good and reasonably priced.
Nothing to complain about.

OK , helpful staff, but lacks parking

The property is right on the main road , the room was on ground floor level and people were walking past the window shouting , the road noise was excessive , The room was clean and tidy very basic . It reflected the price I paid as budget accommodation .
I just found it to be convenient as short notice for me to close to the centre of Shrewsbury .

A short walk from the train station which we liked. The room was on the ground floor which was nice as we didn’t have to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs.

Room was on the ground floor which suited me. Very clean, Beautiful bathroom. Bedroom was a bit small with only one pouffe to sit on. Overall enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again
