This hotel was one of the loveliest stays we've experienced, in all our 75 countries travelled!
Pros:

The owner met us outside as we were trying to park, and it was fabulous. Inside the gorgeous boutique hotel we were made very welcome, even offered a glass of cava (champagne) to chill out whilst our bags were taken to our room, which was ready early as well.
The room was gorgeous, with lovely views. It was spacious, gorgeous bathroom and it even had Netflix, which we didn't need as it was superbly located between the beachfront and the Old Town.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the beautiful Altea.

Heerlijk en ontspannen verblijf
Pros:

De locatie vlakbij de kerk en het strand was geweldig, alles op loopafstand.
De kamer was erg schoon en geweldig met het bad in de kamer en een dubbele douche.
Het personeel is erg lief en behulpzaam.
Een grote aanrader.

Perfection!! Unbeatable location .
Pros:

The studio apartment was immaculate with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything is ok .. met at reception with a glass of cava and a bottle of cava in our fridge
The staff are exceptional!!
All of this with a unbetable location ! It really doesn’t get better than this !!
Highly recommend the studio apartment.

Pros:

The hotel was perfect. Very quite, clean and situated away from heavy traffic and crowds.beautifully decorated, and clean.

Cons:

The only problem was no lift in our part of the hotel. A lot of stairs if your elderly. Also the hotel is situated up some steep hills & steps. But it did say that in the write up about it. So we did know in advance.

Our stay at Hotel Abaco in Altea was wonderful and truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is charming, cozy, and full of character.

The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. When they learned about our engagement, they surprised us with a lovely bottle of delicious cava in our room – such a thoughtful and memorable gesture.

We are very grateful for the experience and would gladly return. Highly recommended when visiting Altea!
