Had a good time after the move.
Pros:

Always a good time at shearwater

Cons:

Had to move out of the first room we were given due to a water leak in the bathroom maintenance guy gave us the keys to the new room (a job for the front desk person) no assistance was offered for the inconvenience nor was there any compensation offered. We stayed here for our 44th wedding anniversary.

Loved sitting by the cozy fireplace while watching the stormy weather and listening to the waves
Pros:

Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Love the Jacuzzi bath in the room, the fireplace and comfortable bed. The room is more spacious than other hotels.

A special place for a special weekend.
Pros:

Beautiful views with balcony, nice breakfast selection with room delivery (included), comfortable bed. Enjoyed close walk to the beach and restaurant.

Cons:

I remember when they served cookies in the lobby and had wine at night. Would be nice to see this return.

Was very nice. Our second time at this hotel and we will go again.
Pros:

Room view of the ocean was perfect. Breakfast brought to the room was ok. Basic, nothing fancy, but good way to start the day with a coffee. Bed was comfortable with many pillow options. Loved having gas fireplace and our own deck to sit on and watch the sunrise/sunset.

We were relaxed and wished we stayed longer.
Pros:

Staff was great, room was clean. quiet. We love our room with the ocean view. Breakfast was OK, maybe more selections. Check out at 11:00 was great.

Pros:

We had a grand time!! Our Bixley also had a great time. When we set a date for our honeymoon, it would fill the bill.

Well worth the price.
Pros:

The view is amazing, the beds are comfy, the suites have a lot of room, they use tvs which is great for picking a show. The whole stay was awesome!

It was all pretty fantastic.

Pros:

Great location. Always clean and staff is great.

Cons:

The door on room 4008 is a bit loose. It rattles when other doors on the level open and close. It’s not too bad, but noticeable.

The only small issue I had was getting in & out of the jetted tub. There weren't any secure hand rails to hold onto.
