Very quaint, pleasant hotel just steps from the boardwalk and beach
Pros:

The hotel offers some very nice amenities: complimentary happy hour (rose or white wine, cheese crackers); fresh baked cookies, nice breakfast (breakfast burritos, croissants, mini muffins, cereal, bagels, juice, yogurt, granola). The dining room is very quaint - vases with flowers on every table.

Cons:

The commode in our room ran and the handle was loose. The sofa bed was uncomfortable - which is pretty standard for sofa beds, I suppose.

I would stay there again even I didn’t like the swimming pool. It’s centrally located. Next to the broad walk.

Swimming pool is kinda small, water wasn’t that clean.

Good location
Pros:

The location is good. The pool is nice and the rooms were clean. You do end up waiting until 3:00 for the rooms to be ready. Free beach chairs and towels are nice. You don’t have to drive anywhere once parked you can walk.

Cons:

We have stayed here before for over 7 seasons. I wish they would go back to the breakfast they usted to serve. They usted to have waffle bar. Potato’s, regular eggs and stuff. They still have the continental style cereal muffins etc. I did not enjoy the breakfast burrito as it was soggy because it was wrapped in tinfoil and left in a warmer. I also didn’t like the egg bake that they had because everything had spinach or peppers and onions. I wish they would go back to having just regular eggs that they served. I know their sister hotel down the road the Avenue has a better breakfast option so may try that next year.

First time we stayed at this hotel and it was the best stay ever!
Pros:

Parking was excellent. Liked the pool very much. The cookies in the evening were a great touch!

Cons:

The pool chairs were somewhat uncomfortable. Too heavy!

It was right near the boardwalk. Easy to get to, near little shops and restaurants. Bed was comfortable

This is a great motel for the money!
Pros:

We liked the extra amenities like the continental breakfast, happy hour, and the YUMMY cookies served each evening. Also, you can't beat the location unless you are paying much, much more to be right on the boardwalk.
The staff were all very friendly, and we really liked Fiona, the night gal, who was extremely accommodating, and helpful, always with a big smile.
