Schönes Hotel mit Schwächen im Service.

Cons:

Am letzten Morgen war ein Lunchpaket statt Frühstück zugesagt, da wir schon sehr früh zur Safari aufgebrochen sind. Aber da war nichts und niemand vom Personal. Auf Anruf hieß es dann, wir hätten das nicht gesehen, es wäre alles fertig gewesen. Stimmte nicht und wurde später auch zugegeben mit einer Entschuldigung. Erstattung wurde zugesagt, aber nur unvollständig vorgenommen. Das hat den ansonsten guten Eindruck leider getrübt für unsere 6-köpfige Reisegruppe.

Proche des sites historiques, mais besoin d'un chauffeur ou tuk tuk pour aller en ville.

Overall, it’s a relaxing place to stay, especially if you appreciate a quiet, nature-filled setting

The hotel offers a calm and peaceful environment, beautifully surrounded by plenty of plants and trees, which really helps you feel connected to nature.

The staff throughout our stay were friendly, supportive, and always willing to help, which made a big difference to our experience.

Cons:

The food was quite good and enjoyable, though it’s worth noting that they don’t serve cocktails.

One downside we experienced was the absence of lifts in the hotel. The stairs were a bit challenging for my parents. However, the staff handled this very well by promptly arranging an additional ground-floor room for us upon request.

Pros:

Tout était parfait. Nous avions réservé 3 chambres. L'accueil des responsables très à l'écoute et disponibles pour chacune de nos demandes ; notamment l'organisation d'un massage ayurvédique. Le site est superbe et les chambres magnifiques. La piscine est bien agréable et le jardin très beau. Le petit déjeuner très bien. A recommander sans aucune hésitation.

De kamers waren mooi en het zwembad was heerlijk. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Het lag wat verder buiten Anuradhapura wat het wat moeilijker maakte om nog even de stad in te gaan ‘s avonds.

Geweldige accomodatie met super lief en betrokken personeel!
Pros:

Super goede service, heel betrokken en vriendelijk personeel, denken enorm met je mee. Lekker ontbijt en je kunt er ‘s avonds ook heel goed eten. Fijn zwembad en veel planten buiten waardoor het er eigenlijk nog mooier uitziet dan op de foto’s. Wel wat duurder, maar wij vonden dit het helemaal waard.

Pros:

De gastvrijheid van het personeel was erg aangenaam. Ze hebben er alles aan gedaan om het ons naar ons zin te maken. Tripjes werden goed georganiseerd en de kok heeft voortreffelijk gekookt! Met name de curry was ongelofelijk lekker.

Cons:

De accommodatie was redelijk ver van eventuele andere restaurantjes of winkeltjes.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr schöne geräumige Zimmer.

Wir hatten für 2 Personen ein Prawn-Curry für 2 Personen bestellt. Was wir bekamen war eine kleine Schüssel mit 4 winzigen Garnelen pro Person. Solch "bescheidene" Portionen hatten wir auf unserer zweimonatigen Sri Lanka Reise noch in keinem anderen Restaurant.
b)
In der Unterkunft gibt es verschiedene Schilder mit dem Hinweis, sich leise zu verhalten. Aber in der Unterkunft lässt man Tag & Nacht eine monotone Musik laufen, die wir in der Nacht selbst in unserem Zimmer im 1. Stock noch hören konnten. Warum das Managment sowas macht, ist uns ein Rätsel.
