Good location, but two room apartment setup less than ideal

Cons:

The two room apartment setup is very odd. Glass internal window/wall and the blinds don’t work properly, so there’s limited privacy. Also only one remote for multiple tvs and multiple air conditioners.

Room was clean and tidy but not cleaned for second night stay. Milk not replaced, Room service not available, unmanned reception until 8am. No tissues in room. unstocked bar.

Het personeel was over het algemeen aardig en servicegericht

Cons:

Wij hadden zeer luidruchtige buren. En het personeel was bekend met deze mensen. Toch moesten we keer op keer klagen voordat er acrue werd ondernomen. Het heeft onze slaap 's nachts enorm verstoord.

there were several issues i faced during my stay. aircon kept turning off due to a timer and it came with no clear instructions on how to operate it and 1 remote that controls both aircons. the tv was a pain in the ass, neighbours kept turning off my tv due to the foxtel remote being universal aswell as the LG remote provided. the wifi kept turning off and on my second night i called the on site manager to let him know of this issue, the issue was not resolved.

Pretty average facilities and low-quality amenities.
Cons:

The person (a Chinese woman) at the reception desk when I checked in on Sunday was very unwelcoming and was rude to me. She spoke in a stern unfriendly voice and made me think that she is a racist or has a superiority complex. There was a complementary drink on offer when I made the booking and when I inquired about it, she said there was no such offer and that she'll instruct the room staff to send me a bottle of water instead. Also, when I asked for the invoice she said, that I had to get it from Booking.com, since I made the booking and paid for it directly with them. Apart from this, the facilities and the amenities in the room was pretty basic and noisy in the night with revving engine noises in the background, as Quest is located along the main Epping highway in North Ryde. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to other travellers, unless you're budget conscious and/or doesn't have any other choice, but to stay there.

Smelly aircon
Pros:

Location. Size of room. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Air con smelt. I advised Reception of this and they changed my room. The new room also had a mouldy bad smell coming from the air conditioner. I advised them of this and they couldn't smell anything and that I must have a very sensitive nose. Wrong response. I was not impressed. The air con smell continued all night.

Cons:

Room had bad smell. Dirty sheets in the closet and bottles of nitrous oxide. Staff were unpleasant and completely wasted our time.

The price is always reasonable and love that it's pet friendly

Cons:

Over all was pretty good unfortunately the lifts and my room key stopped working and had to take the stairs up to Level 5 to find my key would not let me out of the stair well so had to go back down then up again at 6:30 in the morning not fun then get back in my room and had no hot water for a shower not fun lol but was all fixed reasonably quick just a unprotected thing but still had a good time
