Delicious Food - New Menu
Pros:

Heard there was a new menu being launched today, so decided to treat ourselves - we have not been disappointed. The menu caters for many tastes including, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Reasonably priced food which is delicious, well presented, ample and served with a smile. The cozy fire in the lounge is just a bonus to the ambience. Definitely worth a visit.

We loved our stay. It is a beautiful part of the uk, well worth a visit with an interesting history.

Pros:

A very warm welcome, friendly staff all across the hotel. Our dog was made to feel very special.
Our room was a great size, with a big comfy bed and a good sized shower room. We also received a dog box, with towel, poop bags and some treats which was a lovely touch.
The pub at the back of the hotel was very charming, and served an amazing dinner. Breakfast was also very good quality, a self service style but also could have items cooked on request.
Location was perfect for the drive between England and Scotland, not too far from the motorway. Good green space at hotel for our dog too.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in Schottlands höchst gelegenem Hotel
Pros:

Das Hotel stammt aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Unser Zimmer war aber wohl gerade renoviert worden und in einem Topzustand. Einziger Kritikpunkt waren die beiden eng aufeinander folgenden Zugangstüren, die mit einem sehr strammen Türschließer versehen waren.
Beim Check In mussten wir erst etwas nach der Klingel suchen, dann klappte das Einchecken aber problemlos und schnell.
Im Restaurant gibt es eine angemessene Auswahl an Speisen, das Hühnchencurry ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich direkt neben dem Gastraum. Das Angebot ist umwerfend, Es gibt alles, was man sich vorstellen kann. Die warmen Speisen werden frisch zubereitet, der Kaffee war gut und die Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich.
Wir haben uns im Hopetoun Arms sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Die Parkmöglichkeiten an der Straße sind sehr begrenzt.

Pros:

The welcome we had by the staff was great. The room that we had was clean, warm and very comfortable. The food served in the restaurant was delicious. So all in all we had a wonderful stay at The Hopetoun Hotel.

Excellent breakfast. The biggest vegetable and cheese omelette ever! And very tasty

Cons:

The emergency green light really spoilt my sleep! Soap in a bottle kept squirting onto the floor. Drainage in basin very slow
What is it with no marmalade,? I didn't ask for some this time as everything else was so good but I do like it!
