Wir verbrachten eine Woche im Novotel und es war genau so, wie Urlaub sein sollte. Das Hotel war perfekt für uns. Ein sehr schönes, sehr sauberes und komfortables Zimmer mit großem Fenster und herrlichem Blick auf den Bukit Larut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und bot für jeden Geschmack etwas. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut gelaunt. Besonders Herr Sirus mit seinem herzlichen Lächeln am Eingang. Auch die Lage ist ideal. Ganz in der Nähe der wunderschönen Lake Gardens und mitten im Stadtzentrum. Morgens in den Lake Gardens spazieren zu gehen oder auf den Bukit Larut zu wandern und nachmittags am schönen Pool zu entspannen, war für uns der perfekte Urlaub. Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt dort und wir werden bestimmt wieder dort übernachten wenn wir in Taiping sind.

Cons:

Das WLAN hatte Unterbrüche und war eher langsam.

Novotel… from Taiping with ❤️ !
Pros:

The location. It is connected to a mall, so convenient to eat and shop. I love the view of Bukit Larut as I open the window. Very friendly front desk staff.

Cons:

Lack of signboard / direction to the lobby. We accidentally took the wrong lift which has the hotel sign on it but arriving at an empty dark hallway, and we arrived late in the evening.. that was a scary moment. And the parking is so isolated and not so well lit, if you arrive in the evening or planning to have an evening out.
