The a/c in the room was working properly and we were boiling, no windows to open.
Massive room very cheap accommodation but very impressive rooms and rooftop bars and restaurant breakfast was amazing. Staff was out of this world couldn’t do enough for you. Highly highly recommend anyone to visit it. I will be returning myself again and again all while I’m getting service like this it is as good as the Savoy stayed in many times and other five star + hotels .
There’s nothing not to like about the property. There was even parking in the back for me on the backstreets right next to the hotel. Can I argue this and see any fault in it?

La chambre était très agréable, la piscine super pratique après une journée à marcher et aussi la petit salle de sport. Petit dej excellent tout comme le dîner sur le rooftop, quelle vue spectaculaire et coucher de soleil superbe souvenir !!! L’hôtel n’est pas excentré on peut venir facilement en métro ou uberboats et le quartier est sympa 😊
On reviendra c’est certain.

No was nothing not to like
One night stay when visiting for leisure and exhibition. Very friendly welcome when we checked in. Room wasn't quite ready but we were early. However, we were able to leave our bags which was a great help. Provided all our info so when we did check in we could simply go to our room. Room was on 31st floor and was spacious, bright and very clean . Bathroom had all the usual shower gels, body wash. Unfortunately the aircon was not working but within 5-10 mins of informing reception they delivered a fan to the room which was adequate for the night - great response from reception team. We enjoyed cocktails on the rooftop although would recommend getting there early if you want a seat. Disappointed to be charged a service charge when you have to queue and wait for your own drinks, no service at the table so not sure why they charge service charge! Breakfast the next morning was fantastic with a huge range of options to suit every taste. The front desk staff were particularly kind and responsive—one of the team (I believe her name was Alina) provided excellent service throughout, which really stood out compared to the rooftop bar experience. Check out was 12 and again we could leave our cases whilst we explored nearby. Would definitely recommend this hotel for leisure stay.
I've stayed in a lot of Novotel, diamond membership, this is the worst:
- Aircon doesn't work in any rooms (currently a heatwave too)
- hotel bar closes earlier than any other hotel bar I've ever stayed in - it's mad
- the bar staff hound you every 5 minutes in the 30 minutes before they kick you out, every 5 minutes
- I've seen the checkout staff be rude and entirely inflexible

Our stay at Novotel Canary Wharf was lovely and comfortable. The hotel was clean, modern, and welcoming, and the location was perfect for our UK tour. The rooms were comfortable, and the views around Canary Wharf made the stay feel special. It was easy to access places around London, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting London.
Our stay at Novotel Canary Wharf went very well. The hotel was clean, modern, and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect for moving around London during our UK tour. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the beautiful views around Canary Wharf made the stay feel even more special.
Me and my partner strongly believe that sentimental rings of hers were mistakenly left in the room, with a strong photographic timeline of when we had the rings in our possession. Whoever had cleaned our room did not hand in any property and the reaction to this from the hotel has basically just been sorry your loss kind of thing, not we will check who cleaned the room and look into this for you.
These things of course happen in life, but we are strongly confident that property has been taken rather than handed in.
I stayed at Novotel Canary Wharf with my two daughters, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience. As I was attending a conference, I booked two rooms, and the hotel proved to be an excellent choice thanks to its fantastic location, comfortable facilities, and most importantly, its outstanding staff.
First and foremost, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Marina Stan, who welcomed us upon arrival. Marina was absolutely outstanding, professional, warm, and genuinely caring. She knew we had arrived after a long flight and that I had a conference the following day, so she kindly arranged an early check-in and selected very nice rooms for us. She took the time to explain the hotel facilities, the surrounding area, and made sure we were comfortable and settled. Every morning, her smile brightened our day, and she was always happy to share helpful tips. Marina was truly the reason we felt excited about our stay from the very first moment.
The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for business travellers visiting Canary Wharf. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with clean bathrooms, fresh towels, comfortable beds, and effective air conditioning.
The breakfast was very good, but what made it truly special was Aline from the breakfast team. She was exceptional. Every morning she welcomed us with kindness and warmth, making us feel at home. My daughters looked forward to seeing her every day, even on mornings when I had already left for my conference. She looked after them, made sure they had breakfast, and even arranged takeaway items for them to take to their room when they couldn’t finish their meal. Her genuine care and attention made a lasting impression on our family. Aline is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel, and thanks to her, the breakfast area feels warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy.
I would also like to thank Alina, the breakfast manager, whom I met during our stay. She was extremely welcoming and thoughtful.
The only reason I am not giving a full 5-star rating relates to a maintenance issue we experienced. The shower drain in my daughters’ room became blocked, causing water to overflow into the room and soak part of the carpet. When we returned later, there was an unpleasant smell in the room. We reported the issue, and the reception team acted immediately by moving my daughters to another room. Unfortunately, a similar smell later appeared there as well due to the same plumbing issue affecting nearby rooms.
What impressed me, however, was how professionally the hotel handled the situation. The duty manager and reception team made every effort to minimise inconvenience. They eventually moved us to two new rooms next to each other and even managed to arrange connecting rooms, knowing how important it was for me to stay close to my daughters. Their responsiveness, understanding, and customer care turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that was handled with genuine professionalism.
Despite this issue, I would gladly stay at Novotel Canary Wharf again whenever I visit Canary Wharf for business.

Stayed in numerous 4 and 5* hotels and this felt unwelcoming. Staff unfriendly and felt as if could not have cared less Returned late after a visit to O2 only room service appeared to be pizza and chips 1 tea bag, no teaspoons, no mini bar no shower cap, nightmare trying to work out air conditioning fancy AI questions too sketchy and no use at all
Eventually gave up and went to sleep having decided I could not be bothered to start negotiating with reception staff who were no interested
Nice room, modern design and a decent view. Great coffee shop just across the street from the hotel
Some of the staff were just unfriendly.
