Fomos enganados, não nos deram a informação que o ar condicionados do hotel estavam estragados.
The room itself was great, loads of space but our room was directly opposite a building site. We had to keep our curtains closed alll the time as the builders were literally waving in. There were no net curtains / sun blinds just black our curtains, so our entire stay we had to keep the pulled.
The staff were lovely, the pool and gym were great but this was a big disappointment. The roo. Was really expensive, expected better
We were opposite a building site. I wished I would have k own about this when making the booking
Great location, very decent hotel
Nothing, it is a very nice hotel
Everything was perfect. The location, the room , the staff and price
Great location & amenities
The air con turned off periodically which resulted in the room being extremely hot & uncomfortable which unfortunately made the stay very poor
Facilities
None
The room was spacious and staff were friendly and professional. The location is very beautiful.
Air conditioning was not working properly. We had to be shifted to a new room. Pool and spa facility is very small.
there was little to like TBH
As it is very hot in London at the moment the A/C was not working was given a fan which was annoying. The room very basic to what the pictures showed. The floor was filthy dirty, was really disappointed that I had to check out and quickly book another hotel nearby as I had booked this for my partner's birthday. The room was meant to have a view. th only view was of cranes and work being done outside. could not have spent 3 days there.
Location and views from the high floor
It was shabby and in desperate need of a refresh. Staff didn’t their best but it wasn’t clean at all. The reception area was unwelcoming and on arrival we had one member of staff who was very unhelpful and non communicative. The rest of the staff I must point out were very kind and helpful.
Affordability and a 10-min walk to the underground
The room was absurdly dark. Bathroom lighting was an Edison-style light bulb - the room was decorated nearly black and extremely poorly lit (dark and sultry aesthetic). Visiting in the summer the AC couldn’t keep up and the rooms were over 28C - we had to request 2 oscillating fans to keep the room comfortable to sleep in (had to keep the curtains closed to keep room cool, doing nothing to help the darkness). After repairs were made we had a fire alarm at 4am. Restaurant is rooftop and in the heat was impossible to stay in. We sat at the bar for 5 solid minutes without a regard from any staff, and with the heat we left and never came back.
Everything was nice about the hotel however we stayed on one of the hottest days in the UK and wanted to use the AC, staff was notified and they ignored the fact we mentioned it’s not working. (Now paying nearly 400 pounds for a night you’d expect for the AC to be working, manager apologised and offered us a free breakfast after staff had already seen us pay for breakfast.
I would have expected better customer service and also better communication from a hotel of this standard however I was wrong.
Manager took my details and also said that they would contact me and send me an email and if I decided to ever stay in London again to contact him and gave me his card, I’ll keep it professional and not mention his name.
Been over a month and no email has been sent, I feel like he said that just to get me out the building so other people wouldn’t hear me complaining about the AC’s not working in the rooms.
