The location, central to everything.
Overall, the property was good and we had a pleasant stay. We experienced a blocked toilet on one occasion, but it was attended to very quickly, which we appreciated.
Some members of staff were exceptional. There was a lovely Black lady with a curly afro who was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful throughout. We were also assisted by two gentlemen with our luggage, both of whom were courteous and kind.The men at the hotel entrance were also lovely.
One area that could be improved is the welcome from some of the front desk staff. The lady who is often positioned by the entrance would usually look at us as we came in and out but rarely acknowledged us with a greeting or smile, which made the welcome feel less personal than expected. The staff member responsible for arranging experiences also came across as somewhat passive-aggressive during our interaction.
Breakfast could also benefit from some improvements. When I ordered an omelette, I was instead served fried eggs topped with ham and onions.
Unfortunately, we were also unable to eat the Eggs Benedict we ordered. However, the well-fried eggs we had the following morning were much better, and the hot chocolate was excellent. I would also like to compliment the restaurant team, who were attentive, friendly and provided very good service throughout.

Right from the start things didn't go the way we expect it from a five star establishment.
The receptionist processed our data. He gave me the check-in sheet to sign. He had filled the form with fantasy information turning me into a Brit living in London despite holding my Swiss passport in his hands. When challenged, he just shrugged and went silent.
If you are a light sleeper, avoid this hotel. It is sandwiched between two streets where heavy traffic, beeping horns and, most of all, boisterous revelers pass through all night till 5am. The windows are wafer thin, so you need earplugs.
Irritating also that they let in artists to the breakfast where they hand out fliers and try to get you into a converstion.
The restaurant is excellent and the rooftop bar nice to watch the sunset. But all in all: not my cup of tea.

Café da manhã pode melhorar e muito. Deixou a desejar. Pão de queijo muito ruim mesmo. Pão delícia não representa a bahia. Banana da terra verde, mesa sem muita "atratividade".
El hotel es magnifico. El edificio es espectacular. Habitaciones muy cómodas, muy buen restaurante y el roof top es muy agradable. Nos gustó mucho la amabilidad del personal, especialmente del concierge, Luis.
El hotel no dispone de un lugar para guardar el equipaje. Salíamos para una playa por un par de días y regresábamos al mismo hotel, pero tuvimos que llevar con nosotros varias maletas, con equipaje que no íbamos a utilizar. Esto podría mejorarse fácilmente con un pequeño espacio de consigna de equipaje.
Breakfast: excellent. Hotel restaurant is a must that you need to experience, excellent ratio quality in food and ambiance, paying a very good price.
Staff is well trained and prepared to serve you at any time.
Tiny details that perhaps nobody really cares or affects their stay, regarding that the original wooden flooring in the room might need a bit of treatment and polishing…just nonsense.

Alguns funcionários no bar e durante o café da manhã são extremamente despreparados. Um lentidão absurda, drinques bem ruins e atendimento que não condiz com um hotel 5 estrelas.
Música muito alta durante todo o dia, chegando a ser desagradável em alguns momentos.
