Great location
Pros:

The location and booking process were good.

Cons:

There was no TV which may have been in the description but that was a surprise to us, and the bed was VERY low, which didn't really suit my parents who are in their 70s.

It was good place to stay ,Staffs were friendly and nice.
Pros:

We stayed in Sherwood Lodge.
The property has nice water flowing space,got sauna and yoga thing.

Cons:

It is a bit old maybe they have to Renovate the bathrooms/toilet as we found a bit like Mold on the walls edge.
Also toilet Exhaust fan was full of dust ,has not been cleaned for a bit

Good but not great. Have stayed twice before and the experience was much better.
Pros:

Location is great and the restaurant is exceptional.

Cons:

Room wasn’t cleaned for the entirety of the stay - we had fresh towels and the bed was made but no clean linen. We stayed there for 4 nights.

Great quiet spot just out of the way of the busy city but close to main roads and amenities
Pros:

Free hour session in their sauna for guests (needs to be booked at reception. The sauna is kept quite hot- probably about 70-75°C and we only lasted half of our booked 60minutes)
Room in the lodge was nicely decorated with recycled materials (curtains are partially made of old military blankets) and an aesthetic of industrial boho was a cool change of pace to what we have stayed in elsewhere.
Bathroom is nice and spacious as is the room overall.

Cons:

Bed is very low to the ground and the wall is lined with a recycled black foam or cork board that acts as bedhead area did flake off a bit when knocked.

Parking is tight and spots are unallocated.

The place says they are committed to ensuring that they’re lowering their environmental impact (the use of recycled materials, opting for a natural or environmentally conscious design/aesthetic) however they leave the lights permanently on in empty rooms. We noticed we had no immediate neighbours for both nights stay, and the lights never went off, even when we had a 4am start, the rooms were still aglow.

Great hotel with a very nice restaurant using food grown on site. Comfortable and eco-conscience.
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable, we had a small issue with the hot water. Reception contacted us about it before we told them and upgraded us to a bigger room. Very nice restaurant on site and overall a good and eco-conscience hotel.

Cons:

Not much to not like. No TV's in the room but that can be nice. No allocated parking so not always a park outside your room but plenty of free parks.

Cons:

The room was very loud, thin walls, the heat control didnt work well so it was too warm, staff were often rude or simply not interested in solutions when presented with an issue, while I feel that the recycling approach to the renovation is unique I also feel that when you host a michelin rated restaurant on your premises a certain level of treatment is expected. That was not our experience at all we felt like we were staying in a roadside motel.
Also if you arent going to renovate the bathrooms please make sure that you stand by this decision and share with your guests what to expect. I found the lack of photos slightly dishonest.

It was a roof over our head and had a bed.

Cons:

No TV, accommodation was very outdated, the restaurant was overrated food was not to standard and so expensive. For a supposed Michelin star rated restaurant using pre made breads, what a joke.

Loved the rooms, curtains, outdoor play area. The amazing restaurant! Staff were lovely! Electric car we could rent. So

Couldn’t find a dish cloth to wipe the bench. Otherwise everything we needed.

Pros:

The staff. Good shower.

Cons:

I would rate the room we were first given as a $50 a night back packers accomodation. We were given a slightly better room when we complained to the manager but the room was still very sub standard. No tv , no comfortable chairs, very basic decor. Not happy and would never recommend to anyone
