Wonderful stay made the 30 min drive to Mid South Gravel Race SO worth it!
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and the lobby & breakfast room was clean, fresh, and inviting. Sadly, the pool was closed due to an ice storm. The wind was howling, and something on the exterior was rattling. When I shared news w/front desk, they quickly offered to move us to a new room. We stayed for 3 nights for a gravel race, and the location was near the hwy, but not right on the hwy, which we appreciated. Our "suite" was perfect size. Loved the extra sink to clean water bottles, etc and counterspace was wonderful to make our own quick meals . The couch and window seat were great too! Great stay overall!!

Cons:

I'd replace the foot ottoman that has a big tear down the side.

Next time I will stay at the nearby Holiday Inn Express
Pros:

It was cheaper than the completion nearby. The suite had a table and chair.

Cons:

It is not well maintained. Many signs of wear. Loud HVAC, torn material on furniture. Slow elevator. Deadbolt wouldn’t close (misaligned door). I could go on.

We had a room confirmation but they did not have our information it took almost 30 minutes to check in…. Management not helpful finally got a room. We have stayed here for years…. May not be back!

Excellent value and comfortable clean rooms!
Pros:

Very clean the rooms smelled amazing. The staff were very helpful and nice! The breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. Nice variety as well.
The fitness room and pool are 24 hours so that made it nice so we could be up and get on the road earlier. All and all it was great stay we chose to stay there on our way to South Padre and then home from South Padre and both nights were beyond amazing.

The room was very clean and the staff was exceptional! Everyone had a smile and was extremely helpful in every little detail.

Cons:

The beds were a little too hard for our preference, but that is a personal preference only and you cannot accommodate every personal taste in a hotel.
