It was amazing hospitality and food was great. Excellent hygiene services. Staff was very cooperative. Basically overall experience was great

We booked taj swarn with lots of expectations but unfortunately the stay wasn’t up to the mark , rooms was average for 14k INR, body wash, shampoo bottles were empty , washroom was very average as well
Only saviour was food which was including the service
Honestly speaking , after this we stayed at Holiday INN at 8k INR per night and the quality of rooms were way better and clean. kids room was under renovation , i mean who does that during the peak tourist season of Christmas and new year

Totally disappointed with Taj swarn, have stayed with so many Taj group of hotels but never had such below par experience that we had at Taj swarn
Total waste of money , never coming back again neither will recommend anyone

Issues upon issues. During breakfast, eggs were undercooked, next day, our eggs were giving to someone else. Service was not best. Thereafter once we complained, got their attention. Meanwhile after our breakfast, went to room and large puddle of water in the bathroom leaking from top of ceiling. They managed to give us another room however the inconvenience of changing to another room was hassle as we had to pack and unpack all our belongings.

It wasn't a great experience as expected from Taj group. This was my first stay with them. Being a platinum member with other international hotel chains, I was looking forward to this first stay with Taj. but it didn't turn out that great. The only thing worth appreciation is the quality of food. But the room quality, bathroom, the towels and amenities were like a simple three star hotel.

I have travelled the world and have experienced many great customer service experiences, however, nothing compares to the absolute delightful experience we had at the Taj Swarna, Amritsar. A very special shout out to Mr. Inderpal Bedi ( Director of Operations), Mansi ( Special Events coordinator) and Ajay ( Sous Chef). A Family member became very sick while we were staying at the Hotel. Mr. Bedi and Mansi were assisted us every step of the way by being physically present at the Room and helping out in so many ways with many other staff members involved. We had to shift the family member to the local hospital in the ICU. Mr. Ajay made sure we had packed lunches for all the family members while we were visiting the hospital. What really touched my heart was that our family member needed blood and Mr. Bedi sent an email to his entire staff at the hotel and two of the hotel staff members showed up at the hospital to donate their blood. This is way beyond customer service. They did not treat us like customers but like family. Very very grateful to everyone involved in assisting our family member. God bless

Rhythm from the front office was incredibly warm and efficient—his friendly smile and quick assistance with check-in, upgrades, and local recommendations made everything seamless right from arrival.
Harpreet (Harpreet Singh) from housekeeping went above and beyond, ensuring the room was spotless with thoughtful touches like beautiful decorations and personalized amenities that added a special feel to the stay.
Both are true gems and embody the legendary Taj hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amritsar.

A special mention to the entire Front Office team, who are absolute gems and the finest people to interact with—gracious, attentive, and always smiling. The rooms were beautifully maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared.
Breakfast was a delight with an excellent spread and attentive service, making our mornings memorable. Overall, the stay was marked by warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt care that made everyone in our group feel truly valued.

This property offers a great blend of comfort and convenience, located just a short walk from the mall and close to the Golden Temple.Recaption boy rhythm , Gautam, chef anish, provide was great service. Guests rave about the cleanliness of the rooms and the cooperative, friendly staff, making for a welcoming atmosphere. Harpreet Singh from Housekeeping provide the excellent, fast service.While there are occasional comments about the food being on the expensive side, the overall experience is rated highly for its value in the budget category.

As someone who had previously never stayed at Taj, but heard about the experience, Taj Swarna - Amritsar truly did not disappoint.
When we arrived, we were greeted by Savreen & Komal, who helped us become comfortable with our stay.

I desperately wanted my hair done, and my mom wanted a spa experience. Thus, we ventured to the J Wellness Spa & Niu & Nau salon, where both Rajan & Anita did their magic! Truly experts in their craft.

In the evening, Sandip served us delicious food, even making pasta of my choice through the kitchen! It was excellent.

Day 2 arrived, and the breakfast room was alive. We were served by Samrat, who did absolutely everything he could to make our meal wonderful. He even went out of his way to arrange a takeaway breakfast for our next day travel journey. From there, Chef Laalu came forward and made the day even sweeter. He went out of his way to make a halwa for my grandmother, who was celebrating her birthday. It was so beyond sweet!

Finally, upon returning from our trip to the Golden Temple, our room was decked out by Jashan & Pankaj from housekeeping, who created a birthday surprise! My grandmother was elated.

Overall, my stay at Taj Swarna is one I’ll remember for many years to come, and it’s because of the service, kindness, and warmth that’s palpable in every corridor.

Very comfortable stay and delicious food. large variety of dishes in breakfast. It was my second stay here. Both the times we experienced comfortable stay and delicious food.

Wonderful stay at the Taj Swarna! The team of Ritik, Jay, Sandip, Aman, Harpreet - took great care of us as their guests at the restaurant and the hotel. The rooms are well-appointed and the staff is super attentive!

Gurkirat Singh and Aman provided excellent services in Taj Swarna Buffet Breakfast really appreciated, both were efficiently did great efforts to what we liked. We bless them great future ahead with their hospitality and enthusiasm in doing their work. Manager Ritik is also very appreciative in training these guys, actually that reflects is done by him only. Great job.
