Elevator: Stylotel is arranged over 2 buildings. The main building is where all the Stylorooms live. The Stylosuites chose to live on their own in the second building across the road above our brand new Aviation themed bar, The Sussex Arms. Both buildings have elevators but for some rooms you may still have some steps after exiting the elevator (blame the Victorians, not us). In the main building just over half the rooms have step-free access. The maximum you may need to climb stairs is one floor. Guests staying in the Stylosuites can use the elevator to/from the ground floor when the bar is open (normally 10:00-23:30 but subject to change due to Covid19). When the bar is closed guests must use the stairs to go up one floor (bypassing the bar) and use the elevator from then on.
Deposits: If you do not choose to pay the total cost of your booking online, a deposit equal to the cost of the first night will be charged on the day of booking. If a booking is canceled in line with the cancelation policy the deposit will be refunded within 10 working days. Please note that all charges and refunds are made in British Pounds and if you use a card that is in a different currency the amount you pay may be slightly different from the amount you get back depending on the currency exchange rates at the time the transactions are processed.
Groups: When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Groups of school children under 17 years old are not accepted.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Small ( very small!) rooms
Location was close to Paddington which made travel easy and the breakfast was phenomenal!
Hot water was not great, if multiple people had to shower the hot water ran out fast. Had to move rooms due to water leaking when flushing toilet, second room had same issue just not as bad.
Os funcionários eram simpáticos e o pequeno almoço também era bom, mas mais virado para o pequeno almoço inglês. Todos os dias trocavam as toalhas do banho mas não havia toalha de mão!

Não gostei do facto de a janela do quarto não dar para lado nenhum, abriamos a janela e tínhamos um muro a um metro, como o quarto era pequeno tornava-se claustrofóbico. A casa de banho era minúscula, uma casa de banho de autocaravana que nem nos conseguiamos mexer para tomar banho como deve ser, com uma cortina que se colava toda ao corpo de tão apertado que era.
Debaixo da cama havia muito cotão.

We have just returned from the best 2 nights stay here. From the moment we arrived, Andreas on reception was so welcoming and so kind, he really made our stay feel like we had a home from home in London. We were offered a choice of rooms, and opted for a refurbished room on the top floor. This was great - a very funky hi tech bathroom, Nespresso machine and very comfy bed. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful with traditional English breakfast keeping us full way into the day. All of this with a location that is 5 minutes stroll from Paddington station ( only 8 stops on the tube from Waterloo) and a complimentary drink in their Sussex Arms aviation bar makes this hotel an absolute winner - thankyou!

That the staff are extremely pleasant and handled everything in professional manner. The breakfast and the staff are both excellent 👌

The customer service eas excellent, we were well looked after and allowed to check in early, with a choice of room.
Maybe a kettle in the room would have been handy.
Location is perfect. Close to Paddington Station and plenty of eateries and shops close buy. The cooked breakfast is good enough to set you up for the day and you get a free drink in the pub around the corner.
The toilet was a bit smelly
I had to ask for toilet roll and tea and coffee as they weren’t replenished in the room. I’ve stayed here before and this room wasn’t as good as before even though I paid for an upgrade
