A big price for a dodgy room
Pros:

We have been to this lovely hotel many times for dinner, which is always excellent. We had a large room with old furniture which needs money spent on it to bring it up to the standards of the twenty first century.

Cons:

The room had a queen bed and was advertised as a regular rental of $200 per night. The room had power supplied by a powerboard suspended from the jug lead with which also connected to the bed lights and fan. There was no fridge or TV in the room. The man at the bar dealing with reception sent us upstairs only to find we were downstairs, which we had requested "if available".

Pros:

A surprising stay. Not usually a pub accommodation type person, however enjoyed our stay. The pub had a lovely dining area with a good selection on the menu. The outdoor area was lovely and our room (we chose an ensuite) was clean and comfortable. There was no fridge in our room, however there was a fridge in a common area. All in all a lovely stay.

Cons:

Whole room felt damp, even when we got into bed the bed felt wet. The 2nd night the ceiling was leaking water out onto the floor in the bedroom.

No one was at reception to even tell this too very poor
