Mukava ja siisti hotelli. Sijainti on kaukana keskustasta ja matka sinne kestää julkisilla pitkään vaikka juna-asema onkin melko lähellä.
Huoneet olivat siistit ja tyylikkäät.
Patjojen kunnossa on toivomisen varaa, ne eivät olleet mukavia.

Bottom line: I'll stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. I've stayed at many hotels in the Bangkok area and this is one of my favorites.

Awesome boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok but still close enough to feel like you're in the city. Each room has a different theme and different amenities. I stayed in the galaxy room (see pics) and felt like I was 10 again. It was awesome. Quick note, the bathtub rooms don't have a shower (at least not mine). The breakfast was decent, bit limited selection of foods. The pool is top quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some have English skills while others don't. And it seemed like a family run hotel, not one owned by a faceless corporation. So you're treated a bit better. The hallways looked as though there were renovations and improvements going on. The rooms have new high quality electronic locks. There are several shopping and dining areas a short drive away and some local food stalls as well. Nearest BTS station is about a 10 minute drive. Staff can help get you a taxi if needed.

안락하고 편안했습니다. 딸이 테마가 있는 방을 마음에 들어 했습니다. 특색이 있어서 저도 좋았습니다. 방나 지역에 있는 센탄방나, 메가방나, 파라다이스쇼핑몰,딸랏롯파이1야시장, 시컨 등을 즐길 수 있어요. 다만, 택시 기사가 위치를 잘 모를 수 있어요. (그랩택시로 호텔 앞에 택시는 정확히 오나,다른곳에서 들어올 때 그랬고) 조식도 맛있었어요.

In the southern end of Bangkok. It was ideal location for a training course I was doing. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Sukhumvit isn't the prettiest pat of Bangkok but Thongtara was a pleasant little oasis, would definitely consider using it again.

...die Zimmer sind groß, sehr schön im thaistyle eingerichtet - das Bad ist toll.
Ich war sehr positiv überrascht...das Personal war klasse - wir bekamen eine große Lieferung von Möbeln ins Hotel - die haben uns beim Umladen geholfen.
Frühstück kann ich nicht bewerten, aber wir konnten unser Fahrzeug ohne weitere Kosten bis 16 Uhr dort lassen......Englisch ist verbesserungsfähig.

Thongtara House Hotel is a quaint, small, family run hotel in the midst of a semi industrial part of Bangkok. It is a perfect place to end or begin a Thailand trip - to unwind in the clean, peaceful swimming pool. Our kids loved the kitchy themed rooms which were clean and spacious - with fantastic baths to clean grubby bodies! The staff were super helpful, kind and attentive.

Thongtara Hotel ist fantastisch, familär geführt, perfekter Service und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und die Betten angenehm. Der Pool bietet zusätzliches Vergnügen und das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert mit vorzüglicher Küche.
Sehr zu empfehlen - werde wenn möglich gerne wieder kommen.

The hotel is modern and well decorated, but a long way from shops and difficult for a taxi to find the hotel. Very dark at night. I don't feel safe going out at night around this area.

We stayed here two nights. First night we arrive at 2 in the morning and we're shown to beautiful room. The only problem was the room was too big for the air conditioner. It never really cooled down so we changed rooms. Went to a smaller one that was not as nice. The air worked better in that room but we did pay for the upgraded room. They might want to fix that situation. Besides that the food was great and people were too. We really enjoyed our stay and pool was great.

The hotel and staff are nice but the surrounding has nothing much to offer.
