Very spacious, comfortable and well-equiped room and bathroom, friendly staff, well-located to explore the historic center of Catania.

Cons:

Too many stairs, no lift, this was not a problem for me, but will be for those travelling with luggage.

Central location but not a hotel
Pros:

The location was good near the centre of Catania. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The room was reasonable clean and the towels and sheets were fresh.

Cons:

The entrance to the accommodation was locked and involved ringing the bell for assistance. We had to wait outside for quite a while before we got and answer. There was no lift and quite a long stairs had to be climbed to reach our room. The reception was on a higher floor with another long stairway to climb. This accommodation should not be classed as a hotel - it is a room in an old building.

Clean, charming centrally located hotel.
Pros:

Hotel Gorizia was extremely welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was exceptional. The room was spacious and spotless. The bathroom was newly renovated. We especially loved the beautiful light from the balcony window.
