They let undesirable people stay fighting in the corridor smoking strange smelling cigarettes drinking all hours

Old dated poor paintwork not particularly inviting

This place is a complete mess. Full of homeless people. I arrived with my case at 3pm to find no 1 around but a phone no 2 call but just kept going onto answer phone? It wasn't until 2 lady's came out that they went and got the manager. He processed to tell me my booking had been cancelled and I should have had an email telling me? I showed him my emails and my receipt from Booking.com confirming my booking. The money had been taken out of my account. I asked him if he had any rooms and he said no. Fully booked? But Booking.com was still showing many rooms available? I was denied a room even though I had paid and I had no choice but to leave. I am 77 years old and had travelled to the I.O.W and across the island in extreme heat and now i had to find somewhere else i could stay that I could afford. I was so disgusted that I would have given this a zero or a minus if it were possible. I did manage to find somewhere else but the amount of stress it caused me spoilt my stay! I spoke to locals about my experience and they told me this happens all the time at this hotel! It's a scam and theft. Please read other reviews and don't book this Hotel. I paid £186 and they offered to give me £8 compensation and I didn't even receive a room. I will fight to get my money back but I think i had a lucky escape once I read the reviews of the disgusting things going on in there. I have used Booking.com for a very long time and have always been very pleased with my accommodation and im hoping they will help me get my money back. They should not advertise this property! Be warned if you want to enjoy a break away. This place is disgusting and it's criminal to take your money and turn people away! It's broken my trust a very disillusioned customer 😕

This place was very dirty hair everywhere, in a double room only 1 cup. Window never opens. In extreme hot they don’t have any fan also any fridge. Couldn’t enjoy just bcz of room. Could sleep or a single second. Very uncomfortable

Confusing layout, no staff, heavily stained, dirty and smelly hallways, suspicious stains on carpet.

Everything about this place was vile. It ruined our break away.

First of all, after booking you get a WhatsApp message demanding you show them a photo of your debit card, and mine and my partners ID, and all our details, who do the owners think they are?

It is also all self check in, no welcome.

We arrived to be met with derelict buildings next door, which isn't the hotels fault. When entering the room we were met with the smell of urine or a toilet.

Here is a low down of the things wrong with this room.

No kettle
No bin
Bathroom smells of urine making room smell the same.
Dirt on sides
Dirty windows
Dirty stained curtains
Huge bed bugs
Bed extremely uncomfortable and makes you feel like you are upside down.
Dirty stained carpet
Draws do not work
Draws have filth in them
Only two towels, there was 3 of us.

And they made us provide all them photos and details for that ? What a cheak..

The staff and owners clearly do not care.

I can only assume the few good reviews were written by friends and family.

The room was dirty, sand and crumbs all over the floor. The beds were on wheels that rolled all over the place as well as being uncomfortable. The furniture was old and scruffy. The room was decorated really badly, the paint work was a mess. There was a stain of something splashed up the wall. On top of that I could hear everything going on in the next room

Didn’t even get in front door walked away more like a dose house than a hotel

None of the room fittings were working, downgraded from deluxe room to standard, supposed to get refund but didn't. Not happy

Under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust,unpleasant odors
bedding was dirty, stained, or appeared unused.
bathrooms were moldy, showers had grime andsurfaces needed a deep clean. We found some used child nappies and other stuff left unclean
Hotel is seriously having security concerns, whole night kids were not able to sleep, it's scary envirohment. Door locking is completely insecure as it doesn't have option to lock from inside thr room.
Bathroom doesnt have locking system. Windows locking doesn't work. Can't close some of the windows.
There was not heating available.
