Good environment. Poorly trained staff. No management on property for dialogue with customers.

Staff was not accommodating. They are stuck in their own world and not willing to, at least, listen and show concern for the need of a customer. No management was available for the customers to speak with and about individual needs. This was the first time in 50 years a hotel refused to provide a receipt for my payment. I left with no receipt and now I cannot file it with my company to receive a refund for my trip.

Very nice stay.
Pros:

Staff was amazing!!
Good choices on the breakfast bar.

Cons:

The ceiling in the bathroom looked woke it was in the middle of a repair. Ceiling above the shower had some mold.
But everything was very clean other than that.

Served its purpose but not a very good one unfortunately

Location was easy to access the freeway

Cons:

Our toilet didn’t work and seemed like the staff was just “we’ll see if we can find someone” and then said no other rooms. What were we supposed to do if maintenance couldn’t come? And seemed like front desk personnel were not always there. Also we were located just over the smoking area outside and other guests stayed out there until 2:00 am making a lot of noise and no one came to say anything to them. There should at least be a sign out there. Hard to sleep both nights we were there because of this.

Not intending to go back. 
Pros:

The location was good.

Cons:

The room was not clean. The remodeling was and after thought, carpet didn’t meet the tile wallpaper was peeling. Drapes were dirty. Bathroom floor was dirty. The sink drain was broken.

Was only there to sleep most of the time. It was quiet and lose to elevators.
Pros:

Big rooms, Great air conditioning, confy bed, location

Cons:

The bathroom fixtures looked used. the walls in the showers needed recaulking. Dirty looking at base of wall and carpeting in room. Time to shampoo carpets.

Convenient For When You’re Tired Of Staring At I-40
Pros:

This hotel served perfectly as a convent place to stop for a night traveling home right off of I-40. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, and reasonably priced, with great service and a good breakfast as well. While not huge, I did notice some wear and tear in the room, especially the bathroom, but nothing major. Overall, definitely recommend this property if you’re coming to Dickson, or tired on I-40 like myself.
