Very hospitable staff. Food and hygiene is of top quality. Anjali was very helpful with everything. They also organised an awesome rafting experience for us .

I vistied anad kashi and reached there after a long and tough journey but the hostility and wellness just made made me calm and relaxed .Mr Vijay was one of the staff memeber which greeted us with a familier way. The high tea at the ganga deck was an absolute fun and memorable experience ,hereby thank tge whole anad kashi team for the hostility and wellness.

The resort's location is exceptional, offering state-of-the-art facilities and unparalleled comfort.

For 3 years we have been regularly staying at Anand Kashi, this was our 8th visit.

We enjoyed going back because it was an oasis of tranquility, quite unlike other bigger properties. Unfortunately it now seems to have commercialised itself with a vengeance.

In this tiny 24 room property with very few public spaces for guests to sit around in and enjoy the beauty of being on the banks of the Ganges, the Management was trying to host private evening events in every conceivable space.

All the 3 days we were there during the day the Glass House, towards the northern end of the property, was used for storing 8 or so chairs, denying guests a space designed to provide a comfortable air conditioned vantage point to relax in and enjoy views of the Ganges. In the evening, all 3 nights, this space was reserved for private functions. In fact on one of the nights just 20 ft away from this Glass House another small party was organised with a live musician belting out filmi songs.

Not quite what the Anand Kashi brand used to represent, but no doubt very good for the profits of the property.

Fortunately the quality of service by the restaurant, housekeeping and security teams continues to be top notch and we enjoyed interacting with so many familiar faces.

With this change in the kind of atmosphere the Management is now creating the name Anand Kashi by the Ganges is bit of a misnomer.

A perfect place to experience serenity and calmness. The resonance of the majestic river continues to linger on in the background even when you step away from the river deck.
If you are looking for a quiet place to maybe sit with a book, or just relax and just detox, or simply want to take a break from the chaos of everyday life, this resort provides that tranquillity to rejuvenate our souls.
What makes this place truly special is the sense of calm and healing it offers.

He is MD of hotel still personally visits and gives personal attention to each and every guest

I absolutely fell in love with this place. The property is truly amazing and the location by the Ganges is incredibly peaceful and beautiful - you immediately feel calm and connected with nature.
We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a luxury tent, which made our stay even more special. Everything was very clean, stylish and well maintained. The food was also delicious and the staff were very kind and attentive.

We had an amazing stay at Anand Kashi. My wife and I came for a short 3 day trip to Rishikesh to celebrate our anniversary. Anand Kashi team made us feel very special. We celebrated our 13th anniversary at Anand Kashi by the Ganges, and it was one of the most memorable stays we’ve had.

The property is small — about 22 rooms — and sits right on the banks of the Ganga, with breathtaking views and the constant, soothing sound of the river. We have stayed in quiet a few IHCL/Taj properties but none match the view and feel of this one except for Taj Lake Palace or maybe Taj Wayanad. What truly elevates the experience is the boutique size — it feels cozy, personal, and you receive far more individual attention from the staff. While we haven’t stayed at Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa, which is nearby, I would recommend Anand Kashi if you’re looking for something more intimate and soulful.

We booked a suite and loved it. On the first night, we had some trouble sleeping due to traffic noise from pre–Shivratri celebrations. However, the team handled it wonderfully — by morning, they had another suite prepared for us despite ongoing work in that suite. That responsiveness really stood out.

The food was very good overall. Breakfast options are limited given the size of the property, but we had no complaints. We especially appreciated that the food was lighter, less spicy, and less oily than what you typically find at hotels. The chef personally met us at each meal, which added a thoughtful touch. They arranged a special anniversary lunch for us.

During our stay, Noel Tata and his close family and friends were also at the property, yet the staff ensured everything felt completely normal and seamless for other guests.

A special thank you to Shubham, Diksha, Vijay, Kamal, Abhishek, Pinki, and the entire team for making our anniversary so special. There are some more names I would like to mention but I dont remeber them.I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful and truly memorable getaway.

This is possibly one of the most beautiful places to go to, if you are planning to be in Rishikesh. A boutique hotel of about 25 rooms has great food, fantastic view to the ricer Ganges and has an exclusive Forest Essentials store where some of the products available only there.

A must visit place for a meal or for a stay, depending on your preference and budget.
