Charming Stay in Thamel – Quiet, Clean & Great Value. good location

Great stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel. Perfect location in Thamel—central yet quiet for a good night’s rest.

Beautiful property with a charming courtyard and rooftop terrace. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful one-night stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel during our Nepal trip. The hotel is beautifully designed with traditional Nepalese architecture — the wooden carvings, red brick walls and peaceful garden courtyard create a truly authentic atmosphere.

What stood out the most was the exceptional warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly supportive, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant and professional.

The location is perfect — right in the heart of Thamel, walking distance from everything yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, well-furnished and comfortable.

Highly recommend Taleju Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu — especially couples looking for an authentic, warm and comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

Excellent place, friendly staff and great location.
Pros:

Fabulous atmosphere and quiet down a side street. Staff very helpful and courteous.

Cons:

In the old part of the hotel there isn’t a lift so a climb to the forth floor.

Le personnel charmant et toujours disponible. La chambre près de la terrasse tranquille et lumineuse. La proximité des sites d'intérêt.

Cons:

La vétusté et le manque de prises électriques. Le lit un peu petit pour le standard de la chambre. Le manque de vrai café au petit déjeuner. La rue entièrement dédiée aux hôtels.

Sehr gute Lage in einer ruhigen und sicheren Straße am Rand vom Stadtteil Thamel. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer sehr groß und daher ideal für Trecker mit ihrem großen Gepäck. Gepäckaufbewahrung während unseres 11-tägigen Treks war kein Problem. Schöner Garten mit Bar.

Kostenloser Flughafenservice! Behilflich beim Sightseeing (hatten sogar nen persönlichen Fahrer).

Und das beste zum Schluss: Das Taleju-Team hat uns den Kontakt zur wohl besten Trekking-Agentur in Nepal (Nepal Trekking Experts) hergestellt! Können wir einfach jedem hinsichtlich Wandern in Nepal sehr empfehlen!
