5 star experience.
Pros:

The property was very clean and beautifully designed, but what truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional customer service. We were in Tagaytay to attend my brother’s wedding at 3 PM and arrived early to avoid traffic. Although the standard check-in time is 2 PM, the staff kindly allowed us to check in at 12 PM at no extra cost so we could prepare for the event.
Special thanks to CJ, the bellboy, who was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We also appreciate Jayson from the restaurant, who kindly allowed us to order cereals for our 5-year-old son even though it wasn’t normally offered during lunch. That extra effort meant a lot to us.
We’re also grateful to the reception staff who helped us book our return trip to Manila via the Joyride app. Splendido is not only clean and well-maintained, the warmth and generosity of the staff made our stay truly memorable.

The view was nice and relaxing, which is one of the few highlights of the stay. Tagaytay’s scenery never disappoints.

Room:
The room was decent and clean at first glance, but there was a major issue: a very strong stench coming from the CR (bathroom). The smell was not bearable, especially in the morning. It smelled like something rotten (parang bulok/pusali). It was very unpleasant and made the stay uncomfortable. For a hotel at this price point, this should never happen.

Breakfast:
Very disappointing experience. We already spent around ₱5,000 for lunch and dinner. The teller told us that it was already okay and no additional payment would be needed. However, when we went for breakfast, we were still charged another ₱800. This was frustrating and inconvenient. The food selection was just so-so — nothing special for the price.

Overall Experience:
Super pricey but not worth it. The food quality does not match the cost, and the miscommunication regarding the breakfast payment was disappointing. For a premium hotel, service and food quality should be much better.

Alle Mitarbeiter sind zuvorkommend, und freundlich.

Im Bad hat ein sehr schlechten Geruch im Abfluss. Im Zimmer, waren staubig, die Ecken und kanten sind dreckig, dass ich meine Allergie Anfall bekommen habe und durch die Nacht nicht gut schlafen konnte. Bettwäsche haben viele Flecken, das Frühstück am ersten Tag hatte das Brötchen Schimmel, unser Essen wurde zweimal durch den Saal getragen, aber uns nicht gegeben obwohl wir schon gesagt das für uns sein könnten, der Mitarbeiter ist 2x in der Küche gegangen mit unserem bestellten Essen. Er war ein bisschen verwirrt und unorientiert. Am nächsten Tag, war das Frühstück alles gut.

The lake view was breathtaking.

Cons:

The front desk staff did not inform us clearly about the breakfast location, we asked if its ok to have our breakfast at the clubhouse. She said yes. What she meant was the country club house near the hotel. We thought it was the clubhouse near the golf course. We walked to the clubhouse (Delimondo Cafe), it was far actually.We had to pay for shuttle to pick us up there because it was the wrong location.
