Disappointing

We booked this stay as a birthday gift for my mother-in-law and paid a high price for just one night, expecting a quality experience that matched the hotel’s reputation. Unfortunately, we left extremely disappointed.

The buffet was very poor, with limited choices and disappointing food quality. Even worse, at the snack bar we witnessed a staff member pick up pasta that had fallen outside the pot with his bare hand, put it back into the pot, and then serve us from it. From that moment, we completely lost confidence in the kitchen’s hygiene standards.

Our room smelled strongly of damp and mould, and there was visible mould behind the shampoo and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom. The single bed was extremely uncomfortable, as I could feel the springs through the mattress all night. To make matters worse, the air conditioning stopped working during the night, and despite repeatedly calling reception at 2:00 a.m., nobody answered.

After choosing to have dinner outside because of the poor food, we returned to the hotel and were greeted by a security guard who spoke to us in a very rude manner while asking to see our wristbands. We had no issue with the security check, but when my elderly mother-in-law asked why he was speaking to us like that, he replied twice that “the previous night a Black robber entered the hotel.” The comment was unnecessary, made us feel uncomfortable, and left my mother-in-law so distressed that she couldn’t sleep that night.

Finally, we counted five cockroaches around the pool area during the day. I understand that this can happen in Cyprus during summer, but for a hotel charging these prices, I expected much better standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

What should have been a lovely birthday celebration became a very disappointing experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel future guests should know what we experienced.

Понравилось все. Спасибо администратору Людмиле. Каждая наша просьба была решена в течении короткого времени. Это было очень приятно. Девушка из отдела обслуживания гостей Тамара тоже была очень приятной и помогла в бронировании ресторана. У нас был поздний рейс, чек аут в 11, и нам был предоставлен номер на полчаса в 16: 30 для того чтобы помыться и собраться перед отъездом.

A most amazing time in this Hotel ,we spent 10 days in here ,we had room 005 with our swim up.The accomodation was beautiful,we could not of asked for more ,All the staff were lovely from the reception,bars . restaurants,they could not of been more helpful ,in the main restaurant,a big thankyou to Fatullah,who went above and beyond for me,and was a delight to see every time.
Another big shout out to say thankyou to Both Tamara and Anastasia,who were the Guest Relations Staff ,These two ladies were amazing so helpful with me especially as I had a medical diet ,so they ensured I had food available for me when I Dined in the main restaurant,Tamara even went and kindly got me decaf tea bags as I could not find any,so this was greatly appreciated.The most amazing act they did was arrange a lovely restaurant venue for our wedding anniversary,it was so nice.We will. Definitely be coming back again , hopefully Oct ,
