La Ramona Charming Hotel

The best part was the hospitality! We had early fishing and would/should have missed complimentary breakfast. Instead the host was up early to prepare coffee and send us off with full belly’s! The property was all very clean and modern. My room even had an outdoor shower which was unexpected and enjoyable.

The room was nice and the bathroom big.

The outdoor shower was amazing. The room was very clean, and the facilities felt brand new. The staff were extremely friendly, and check-in took less than five minutes when we arrived at 10 p.m. There was also free parking right in front of the door, which was very convenient. The hotel is very close to the Tamarindo Estuary tour, which I highly recommend. The room included a coffee machine with good-quality coffee, a safe box, a fridge, a hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. The rooms are very spacious and have two showers—one inside and a second private outdoor shower. Breakfast was also excellent, with juice, coffee, fresh fruits, jam, pancakes, butter, and eggs.

It was a complete package. Even the breakfast was delicious!

This is one of the hotels in Costa Rica I would happily book again on my next visit. Despite Tamarindo being quite noisy, the hotel is in a peaceful area, the staff is genuinely kind, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious

Hermoso lugar con piscina, el desayuno muy bueno, las habitaciones amplias y limpias. El trato del personal fue excelente!. El lugar está muy bien ubicado a pocas cuadras del centro de Tamarindo.

Very nice hotel the staff were very nice and the rooms were great we stayed in the king room and the queen both were great and the breakfast was good

Mein Zimmer war ganz neu, erst im April letzten Jahres hat das Hotel ausgebaut. Das Bockspringbett war superbequem! Der Chef vom Hotel und das Personal sehr freundlich. Der Besitzer hat mir geholfen, ein Ubertaxi zu bestellen, weil meine App nicht funktioniert hat.

This was our first time in Costa Rica, and we stayed at the wonderful La Ramona Hotel. We were in the new part of the hotel, and everything was excellent — the room, the facilities, and the overall atmosphere.
Special thanks to the manager, Pavel, who was very attentive and always ready to help. The breakfast was great, and there is even a small gym, which was a nice bonus.

Unlike many other hotels, this place has hot water, which really mattered. We also recommend booking excursions in advance — Pavel helps choose the best options.

We will definitely come back. Pura Vida!

Personnel attentionné, très propre, endroit calme

The atmosphere was very calm and nice. Even though I was staying for work I also had the chance to relax. There were no kids screaming or making noise either so that was amazing. The room was beautiful and being surrounded by green was amazing!!!

Excellent hotel! Very clean and well maintained, the room was comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast had a good variety, everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel is very quiet, perfect for relaxing.

There is a large swimming pool with clean water and a private gym, which was a great bonus. The bed linen is of excellent quality, making sleep very comfortable.

The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Super hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. On se sent comme à la maison et quel sentiment agréable en voyage !
Propreté impeccable, tout est bien pensé pour qu’on se sente bien.
Il faut juste marcher 10 min pour atteindre le centre et la plage.

Breakfast is a well rounded traditional Costa Rican meal. The property is beautiful with many flowering plants around. Pável is the hotel manager and he is very quick to reply to any questions and he’s great at suggesting restaurants in the area. It is only a 10 minute walk to the beach and it’s close to multiple grocery stores. The rooms are modern and very clean.

The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I also felt very safe at the property. The bed is comfortable and there is a nice big shower. It's easy to walk to town and yet far enough away that it is quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again. I also liked the coffee machine and refrigerator in the room.
