A wonderful place to stay in Tamarindo!
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at La Ramona Charming Hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was walking distance to the beach and restaurants but also far enough away for a peaceful stay. We enjoyed the pool and gym also.

Central and calm stay in Tamarindo
Pros:

Perfect spot calm and right in the center of Tamarindo. The room was the perfect size and with good and silent AC. The staff was friendly and welcoming!

Cons:

The set up is closer to an appartement than to a hotel but you don’t really get the privacy or the facilities of an appartement .

Pros:

A truly wonderful place where the hotel owner, Pavel, and the staff do everything possible to make you feel like part of the family. Before arrival, you can book tours and activities, and Pavel will happily recommend and explain everything.

The hotel is very clean. We stayed in the new part of the property, which also has a small but multifunctional gym. The air conditioning works perfectly here, and unlike many other hotels, the owners allow guests to set it to any temperature (in other places you often can’t set it below 24°C 🙂).

We also recommend ordering the paid breakfasts - they are excellent.

We will definitely come back for Christmas.

-genügend Betten
-fairer Preis
-toller Pool
-Kühlschrank und gute Klima Anlage
-tolles kleines Frühstück individuell abgesprochen

-stellt sicher das ihr im renovierten Bereich unterkommt
-Wunsch nach anderem Zimmer konnte oder wollte nicht umgesetzt werden
-Schimmel in den Fugen im Wohnzimmer
-unbenutzbarer Wassserhahn im Bad (total ekelhaft)

We had a short overnight stay but the comfort was so worth it!!
Pros:

Cleanliness was top notch, extra space for coffee & drinks, desk counter, toiletries provided, comfy bed, overall well maintained. La Ramona is a beautiful, classy hotel!

Okay but more to be desired
Pros:

The room was equipped with the basic necessities and all functioned well while there was electricity.

Cons:

Considering that we were just coming back from a magical place in Nosara for the same price, I just cannot see anything good about this accommodation. The photos are slightly different from the reality, the staff is not super friendly and welcoming. It's a fine place but there's nothing really special about it.

חווה יוצת דופן. שרות ואיכות מאולה. ממליץ בחום רב

זאת הייתה הוויה מדהימה. שרות מצויין. קרוב לים, נגישות לכל המסעדות ואתרי בילויים. מנהל בית מלון היה מאוד מקצועי ונצן שרות אישי וחיובי לאורך החופשה. ממליץ בחום רב.

Pros:

it was very very far from the city and there are no roads or sidewalks just really rocky and dusty roads and it’s very uphill so all my cute shoes got messed up. the staff was ok not mean but nothing special, they were kind to me even though i checked out 30 mins late. the room is nice they give you cute little lotions and stuff and there is an AC which is very important because it’s so hot.

Cons:

there was much much much nicer hostels towards the city center that are around the same price. it would be def worth it to stay in a private room there with a beach front and actual walkable streets. the location really makes the experience not worthwhile
