Great place for a layover between flights
Pros:

Very close to airport, lovely staff, comfy bed, good breakfast.

Cons:

All good but remember, the shuttle service is not apparently 24 hours.

Great stopover hotel when transiting through Bali
Pros:

Fairfield by Marriott Bali South Kuta is a great place to stay when flying to Bali from Australia and then continuing on to other destinations in Indonesia such as Lombok or the Flores Islands. The hotel is very close to the airport — around a 10–15 minute taxi ride — which makes early flights or short layovers much easier.

Check-in was smooth and welcoming, with very friendly staff from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfy bed that made it easy to rest after a flight.

Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of both local and international options. Every staff member we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly, which really enhanced the stay.

Overall, a convenient, comfortable, and reliable option near the airport — perfect for transit stays or short visits to Bali.

Relaxing stay in Ubud escaping the chaotic traffic and tourists.
Pros:

The staff was very attentive and welcoming to ensure our stay was relaxing and comfortable. We winded up using the spa after a full day of touring incredible landmarks which added to the relaxing experience.

Great first stop in Bali
Pros:

Great location nearby airport. Recommend taking my bluebird taxi via the app. Great spot and friendly staff, buffet was good and ple tybof nearby restaurants. Pool is great after long flight. I would go again if passi g thru Bali airport

Disappointed.
Pros:

Below par of a Marriott’s property. Greeted by stale air n stench from lobby to hot reception area . Room was ok only . No mirror in room except toilet . Asked for a change but no response. Lost a souvenir key card placed at door slot. Housekeeping said never saw it .

Great Stay!!!
Pros:

I stay at Fairfield by Marriott Bali South Kuta almost every month, either solo or with my kids, and it’s consistently a pleasant experience.
The location is very convenient, close to the airport, near Pantai Jerman, with several malls nearby and plenty of dining options. Ride-hailing services like Grab are easy to access, which makes getting around very practical.
What truly makes this place special is the people. The restaurant staff already know my routine every morning, my green juice is prepared without even asking. The front desk team is always very helpful, and the GM is extremely kind and accommodating, making my stays smooth and comfortable every time.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the atmosphere feels calm and safe, especially when staying with children.
Overall, great value for money and a hotel I genuinely enjoy returning to.
