The hotel is so dirty , the room isn’t clean at all water leaking in the washroom also the washroom was too small , no parking in the hotel i kept rounding for 45 Minutes to find a parking near to the hotel I couldn’t find , i booked other room for my sister her room was dirty the smoking smell was too bad and can’t handle my sister having allergy and was coughing all the time after a fight with them they changed her room at 1:00 AM , also the water kettles was dirty and rusted inside am not recommending this hotel at all , i had a bad experience in this hotel

Staff was very polite and courteous. This hotel needs improvement and upgrade. Old and broken furniture, bathroom drains were clogged, hard mattresses, and No free car parking facility. Breakfast should be free and a part of the stay package. Somehow the location was a good and very busy street with a lot of food restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance.

There weren't even any towels in the room

The room was clean! Carpets were clean, the bathroom was cleaned properly. There was many towel
We were so tired, and thankfully, the bed was clean and quite comfortable, we just went to bed.

you can see that they are good maintaining the Hotel very well.
Now I should explain that we have travelled extensively, and have stayed in new Hotels before, however, they were always extremely clean and obviously better maintained than this Hotel.
The staff were very nice. That's about the positive thing I can say about the place, other than it's in a good spot, only a 20min walk to the Gold and Spice Souks. In the old part of town.

Never stayed ... but I'm sure the hackers appreciated your lack of security and fraud.

Hotel is very old. Bath room are very dirty

We arrived at the Hotel at Midnight (as conveyed to the Hotel) and our room was not ready. We waited over an hour (We believe they may have given our room away and were now trying to get something ready for us).
The room was not clean! Carpets were dirty, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. There was only one towel (no floor mat & no hand towel).
We were so tired, and thankfully, the bed was clean and quite comfortable, we just went to bed.
In the morning they brought us another 1 towel, after we told them there was only the 1 towel in our room. They made a poor attempt at cleaning the bathroom and left.
The bathroom had mould, grout falling out, dirty floors, old doors that are not in good shape.
The foyer has been spruced up a little, but at closer look you can see that they are not maintaining the Hotel very well.
Now I should explain that we have travelled extensively, and have stayed in old Hotels before, however, they were always extremely clean and obviously better maintained than this Hotel.

I would not recommend staying here if cleanliness is a priority for you.

Very bad hygien and standard, everything is dirty old and alot of smell, the people living there is also very strange.

D- You need to call reception for essential service but they did not provide routine room service daily .

What ever you can expect as basic availability in hotel you will ne informed its subject to availability.

Good room. Housekeeping service was good. Reception staff was helpful. The only problem was very far from metro station. The hotel should arrange for pickup and drop at airport or from metro station. Enjoyed my stay.

The cleaning service left my room open for long time when I came back I found my room open
Also I asked for two beds and they gave me one queuen size bed

Al Fareej Hotel , now called Royal Tulip , the Hotel went into recent renovation, they don’t have parking though it is shown on their website , the room is spacious and upper floor , 4th floor rooms are quite , had very bad experience, not allowing my girlfriend to check in with me , coz she didn’t show original of her passport, though scan of passport was available with us ,

Péssima experiência, carpete imundo e queimado, cheira mofo, ralo entupido, as 2 da manhã um caminhão betoneira a pleno vapor no prédio ao lado bem ao lado da janela do quarto, região nada agradável para andar a noite.

Great location , old amenities, not very friendly staff , very lively location , metro and bus nearby
