Beautiful property, really unique with all the artwork and antique furniture. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer hotel.
I did not intend to spend such an amount on a hotel. Having comitted to the reservation I decided to honour it. The rate for a mediocre luxury experience was totally excessive and frankly obscene my home country offers luxurious 5 star accomodation for similar rates. The staff are truly amazing and breakfast is good, not amazing, just good. Yes, a beautiful residence but I am very unhappy in the overall.
It's located on the main street yet remains exclusive and peaceful. There are no signboards, suggesting minimal marketing, but it's such a lovely, tranquil property! With excellent amenities, attentive staff, and a fantastic location, you'll find many nearby restaurants and cafes. The room includes coffee, fruit, and cookies, and is serviced twice daily. The staff takes care to attend to every small detail.
Nothing at all.
The property is one of a kind. Absolutely spectacular, recommend for people admiring history and the building legacy.
It’s quite expensive but still worth the experience
It was good.
Le Colonial is more like a beautiful home than a hotel. The staff are exemplary and the chef superb. The place is spotless and the location ideal.
Location
History of property.
Was informed I was unable to get a room upgrade as I booked through booking.com. Offered to pay extra but was informed it was not possible.
Room was very small for the amount of money paid. Apparently no other larger rooms were available despite only seeing only one other guest during the entire stay( apart from my friends who were in a larger suite).
Manager was not helpful at all when I voiced my concerns. Was offered complimentary dinner but I was unable to eat most of the food provided secondary to illness.
Kettle not automatically provided in room, had to make multiple phone calls to request( despite informing I had been unwell and preferred to boil water myself).
Rest of staff were pleasant and helpful however.
unfortunately we had an early flight so didn't have breakfast . The property is beautiful through out a wonderful colonial house in superb condition. It is spotless the staff are lovely the pool area and pool are beautiful .
a longer stay
