Misleading description, inadequate facilities, noisy, overly warm rooms in summer. Not recommended!
Pros:

Pets are allowed, there is a lift, the bedding is clean, and the Wi-Fi is free and fast. River and walking opportunities next to the field.

Cons:

The hotel is undergoing renovation (?), which is not mentioned in advance. The hotel description contains many falsehoods: the bar and terrace mentioned in the description are not in operation, nor are the restaurant in the hotel; Parking is available behind the hotel building, at the bottom of an apartment building, not in the underground garage shown in the description. The parking area does not belong to the hotel and is also used by others; The description says “free toiletries,” but this is not true—there were no toiletries in the bathroom, not even a cup. Only toilet paper and towels, nothing else. The description of the room I booked mentions a beautiful view, but all you can see is the ugly top of the building and another house.

IN SUMMER NOone should want to stay here, because either the noise from the train or the unbearably hot rooms make it impossible to relax. The windows of the west-facing rooms are exposed to the sun until 9 p.m. in summer, there is no shade, the old shutters have been removed, and there is no air conditioning or other cooling. However, with the window open, it is impossible to sleep most of the night due to the busy road, loud neighbors (arguing, partying), as well as the noise of trains passing frequently and the loud ringing of the barrier.
Value for money: bad, inadequate facilities, no breakfast, the cleaners left the used bedding next to the elevator and took it away the next morning.

Pros:

Very quick and easy to reach from Aarau, friendly and interesting owner. The room was nice, water hot, good views and a comfortable bed. The price was affordable for Switzerland and way cheaper than Hotels in Aarau. Thank you!

Not up to standard. Very disappointing.
Pros:

Nothing really. It was in close walking distance to my friends home that I was visiting.

Cons:

I booked to stay a week. In that time my room was never serviced. Both bins in the bathroom & bedroom were never emptied. Bathroom not cleaned, bed not made. No clean towels at all. My friends who I was visiting nearby were extremely embarrassed that they had recommended it to me. They rang the hotel & asked for the room to be serviced. Clean towels were left on the end of the unmade bed on the 6th night of my stay & one bin emptied. For the 7 days I was there I never saw anyone behind the counter, except a small dog who would bark whenever I returned from an adjacent room. I borrowed a glass from my friends home as there was no glass or paper cup to drink from. Thankfully I had my own soap to shower. The hotel smelt of smoke particularly in the foyer. I’ve been traveling for 2 months in various hotels in 3 other countries booked thru Booking.com & they were all a very good standard in terms of cleanliness & serviced daily. This hotel was way below par & I would not recommend it to anyone.

Hotel with noisy rooms and double bed of 1.40 m. No good.

Cons:

Misunderstanding about 2 or 4 persons and they had reserved 1 double and 1 single room. The owner corrected that with extra price of 50 Sfr per room. Had dinner there which was reasonable. Next day we went to breakfast room at 08.30 hours. Nobody there. Nothing prepared. Called the owner and he said that we had no reservation for breakfast. No other guests were in the breakfast room. We left without having breakfast.
