Not really a hotel, overpriced and bad service.
Pros:

Located in a very old, beautiful building.
There is a cat in the property and roams around freely, this is nice for most people but there should be some prior notice for people with allergies.

Cons:

This is not really a hotel, it's a very big old building with some rooms converted and operated informally. The location and the entrance of the building are very sketchy but the rooms are nice.
I made the reservation about 1 week prior to the stay and 2 days later I was contacted by whatsapp by the owner asking 2 things: for me to make a wire transfer for the payment since the booking was not refundable and what time I would like to check-in.
I asked for the wire transfer details which went OK and I asked for a 10:30am check-in, I knew I was pushing it but she agreed to it (which I was very thankful for), only advice was that I will not be getting my room but a 4 bed dorm instead, of which I will have exclusive use.
I was not advised that this implied the room - specially the bathroom - will not be cleaned prior to my staying. The beds were made but the bathroom and the floors were pretty dirty. I cleaned the toilet with antibacterial wipes I had with me to be able to use it comfortably.
The booking included breakfast. In the morning I couldn't find were breakfast will be served and I texted the owner, she then told me that there was a group staying in the property with exclusive use and that she has told me this before (she didn't). Because of the exclusive use she was not able to use the kitchen to serve breakfast. The worst part was that she added that she shouldn't have accepted my booking but she did because she knew there was no other room available in whole Buenos Aires (?), that she had already allowed me the early check-in and for me to keep in the room my friends suitcases (I kept those for the day as they were flying out that night), and that I should be respectful. She said she could come and get me a croissant if I wanted to, at that point I declined.
I paid 144 USD for 1 person room 1 night, which is pretty expensive for that part of Buenos Aires.

Pros:

The owner welcomes travelers with a badly attitude, screaming and demanding. It was so bad our experience with her that she had scared my two young daughters and I had to leave her place because we didn’t feel safe. Besides the place looks and smells dirty.

Pros:

As the owner is Belgian, the support and assistance is extremely helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel radiats a cosy feeling with a feel at home mentality.The owner is multi languaged which lifts up multi cultural barriers. The abundance of many art works spread around the facility invites for cultural interactions and conversations.

Gorgeous Property with lovely staff
Pros:

Blown away by this "convetillo" renovation in the heart of BA. I loved the vibe and the decor. You really must see what they have done with this building. It is large and beautiful and decorated with great art.
The highlight has to be the staff, the owner is such a sweet woman. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable of the city. Very professional but with great warmth, her English is excellent and she makes a mean cafe con leche.
I loved the breakfast area on the top floor. It was winter but it must be even better in the summer with a small rooftop dip pool and a gigantic parrilla.
This place was wonderful.

Cons:

I HAD to stay in the area due to some obligations, while it is not the prettiest of neighborhoods, it felt safe, especially the block where the Hotel is located.
This is the only place in the entire area that was good, I looked everywhere and truly there are no other alternatives if you have to be around Balvaneda.

Pros:

The location is not the best one, but the metro station is only one minute from the place and it allows you to travel wherever you want. The owner is very nice.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the conditions were below my expectations. Initially, I was placed in a room that was cold and damp. The owner, after my request for a change of place, gave me a larger apartment at my disposal, but there, unfortunately, it was also cool and there was dampness so that my clothes began to smell bad and required washing. Therefore I can't give a higher rating.

Atención del propietario excelente, no así el servicio, decía desayuno gratuito en el anuncio pues no pagamos a parte,no tenia wifi, no tiene buena calefacción, no suelo ir a hoteles con jabon y champu tuve que comprar!

O ambiente do hotel é incrível, a localização com metrô a menos de 100m é perfeita. A dona é super atenciosa e deu varias dicas boas.
O café da manhã não é dos melhores e a água do chuveiro demora muito a esquentar além de molhar o banheiro todo.

Nice And familiar in the heart of Buenos Aires

When we arrived there was no hot water until next day , that was a little disappointing... and we became a bedroom with two beds , were we asked for a bedroom with one big bedroom ... the decoration is very artistic ! The breakfasts are fantástic and the owner is very , very nice , always offering help and advice ... the girls
