Hotel Rural San Anton

It is a family hotel. Really nice and the manager with her wife and dad are so kind.

After spending two sleepless nights in el centro, I needed a place away from rooftop bars and loud people coming and going all night. The Rural San Anton was perfect. The next day I caught a second class bus north from a place a few blocks away with the help of Antonio. He is the most helpful Hotel owner ever. There are tasty tacos, etc. nearby. I would give this place a 5 if it didn't cost me 150 pesos to get there in a taxi and there weren't mosquitos in the room. If you are driving this would be perfect. In May 2021 it cost $24.

Mi familia y yo nos la pasamos muy bien en el Hotel Anton. Es de gran ayuda que admitan mascotas para quienes necesitamos viajar con ellos, además cuenta con un patio muy grande en el que puedes pasear con tu mascota.
En cuanto a la habitación, toda la estancia estaba muy limpia y las camas eran cómodas.
La única observación que haría es que está algo retirado del centro de la ciudad pero es bastante fácil llegar.

Es un lugar fácil de llegar con amplio estacionamiento las habitaciones y camas limpias, toallas limpias baño funcionando correctamente con agua caliente.

Travelling as a single female for the first time I was quite nervous as to what to expect. I had checked out this hotel online and it seemed to have pretty good reviews, but I was booking last minute during a busy time of year (dia de los muertos) and on a budget since I am a grad student travelling for research, so it was not like I had too much choice. I will tell you I was more than pleasantly surprised! This place could not have been better for the circumstances. It was relatively inexpensive, I paid $50 a night, the room was recently renovated, bright and clean and the owners were just really wonderful. I was in the green villa (they are organized by colours not numbers). I had a huge king sized bed that faced my own little private garden through huge sliding glass doors. There was a TV, bed, 2 chairs and desk in the room and a little table with an umbrella outside. The bathroom had a place to hang your clothes, a towel rack, huge counter and sink, toilet, and a shower that was open to the bathroom, so it was a wet bathroom but I found the water did not really get anywhere. My room was attached to only one other so it was pretty quiet and private. I do not speak spanish so every morning the wife, Maria, would call a taxi for me to go into town. Her english is not perfect but more than enough for us to communicate, and when needed we got by with google translate. Antonio, her husband, speaks really good english and even gave me a ride twice when I had to be in town at a c

Antonio and Maria were wonderful hosts and couldn’t do enough to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

When my pregnant girlfriend became ill they even took her to the pharmacy and Maria prepared her some food. Such hospitality and kindness we were incredibly grateful for and will never forget.

We stayed in a beautiful, immaculate and spacious en suite room with everything we needed and enjoyed the tranquil location out of town.

Es un concepto bien planeado y es un lugar bastante seguro, pero faltan detalles (en mi caso no había tuayas en mi habitación y no tenía jabón para el cuerpo, tenía la clave del Internet pero no había señal) por el resto fue una buena estadía

Difícil acceso debido a que estaba en reparación la calle del hotel. La limpieza se puede mejorar

The owners were very friendly and helpful, even showing me around Centro and giving me great recommendations on where to go and what to see, the rooms are big, safe and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is a little to far from town for me. The staff was very nice and overall we had a great stay.

I really like the place very private and secure. In addition this place is Pet Friendly … I travel with my dog, so this place was perfect for us. Very comfortable and nice place.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They have excellent customer service. I liked the secure parking spot and the three bedroom as well, which was clean and very cozy.
