The location is in the city center. Close by to government complex and traditional market. Staffs are helpful and friendly.

Staff were lovely

I stayed there for three nights during my business trip in the city. The hotel location is right in the heart of the city, around 30 mins by car from the airport and just a 15 minutes to the city's old markets and diners. Checked in was speedy and easy, with staff being very helpful. I stayed on the 10th floor. The elevators were terrible, noisy and shaky, sometimes they smelled very bad, but when I told the staff about the bad smell, they immediately cleaned it up. I stayed in a single bed room, where everything were just okay. Old room, a little bit worn, but clean. The access to my room at the 10th floor was semi-outdoor and did not look nice, the alleys were old, worn but the good thing, they were clean. All the ammenities in the room were okay. The bed comfy, the towel was fresh, coffee, tea and hot water pot also available. The bath room functioned well, hit water worked, although the pressure was not to my satisfaction.
Breakfast: bad taste. They served the worst coffee I have ever tasted. The friend rice and fried noodle were also bad. After my first day of breakfast, i skipped my breakfast on the next 2 days. I preferred to have my breakfast at the street food nearby the hotel. They should do something about the coffee and the fiid they served at breakfast. Please do something, they were bad.
Overall: old hotel, but functioning with friendly and helpful staff. Onlely the breakfast that is terrible

BEST! 1201 view to the southern part of the building, pekanbaru 0km, Governor Office, Regional Library, BRK Tower, and many others. GREAT VIEW!!!

Ordering from Whiz’s Website is cheaper than any other hotel booking web. I tried agoda, at first it was cheaper but when you want to pay, there is around 30-50K extra. They said it was for the vendor or something. But today I saw a statement, something like “no hidden fees” which made me laugh cynically.

Check in experience was BAD.
I have contacted them through WhatsApp about the latest coming time for check in, they said I just need to come to the hotel. But when I arrive around 3.30 PM, I have to wait around 25-30 minutes before they call my name when the room is ready and I can start the check in and paying process. Please fix that.
*but it was easily forgotten when we entered the room, 1201. THE VIEW WAS SO GREAT! Thank you very much for fulfilling my request, something like “highest room (standard double) available, with good view, no neighbouring building blocked the view”

Lobby area is small and there are only seats for 3 adults.

At first, I thought this hotel was so generous! Two 600mL bottles are normal. Then they also provide 2 bottles of 1.5L. Yes they put something to read, telling you that you have to pay 20K for an extra bottle, something like that. But we thought it meant another bottle.
We have to pay 40K for 2 bottles of 1.5L mineral water, deducted from our 100K deposit.
What a DISAPPOINTMENT. Actually we still have the unopened 1.5L in our bag, but my wife told me that’s okay, And I said, okay I have my Google Maps too. Please FIX THIS! Please, no more trapping like this.

The room comes with standard facilities. Surprised with the one channel offered on TV that offers award winning movies. The staff was quite responsive though a bit too rigid, especially the housekeeping.

Check in process is fast, room okay but choose your room type carefully. They have standard room and superior room. If you need spacious room to keep your luggage then go ahead with superior room, standard room might be too small to move around in the room. Receiptionist helpful enough, lobby area small and not enough seating for the guest. Breakfast choice just okay, bed mattress clean and comfortable. Nothing much to complaint and I have started to always choose Whiz Hotel Group everytime visited Indonesia. Affordable price and perfect hospitally - very important for us.

Such great of stay, best hotel in town, clean room and decent variety of menu on buffet breakfast very easy to go anywhere for business or leisure with affordable price that including breakfast definitely will came back when visit Pekanbaru.

Stay in here during my business trip. The location nearby to famous culinary area and nearby to coffee shops. Not too far from the airport. I left my headphone at the hotel and thankfully the staff keep it for me. Thank you Whiz Prime Hotel Pku.

They have a very good room, cozy, and clean, the service comfort us. I think I wanna spend some more day in last 2023, new year eve at this hotel must be nice! Oh ya, their food also amazing, the taste really suit me! Thank you!

the rooms are very comfortable and the mattress is very soft, they service is very good and they are all so friendly, the food is also very delicious, you guys must try to stay at this hotel and have a good experience

I was check in there in 2017, nice lobby with beautiful receptionist, there is also a pc in the lobby that you can access, clean room, with cable tv, clean towel, nice shampoo, nice view from the window, you can see the city of pekan baru from your room window, we wonder why we don't have access to breakfirst

I stayed for a night at this centrally located Hotel. It is easy to find from the main road and you cant miss this tall building with the WHIZZ word in top from Jalan Jend Sudirman. The location is awesome and fantastic.

Check In : was quick and easy since we used Agoda. Was smooth as well. But after the checking in, the person didnt even bother to tell us when is the breakfast, where is the breakfast and maybe offer us a map or ask us if we need any recommendations at all. It was just a simple 'okay done check in'. So we had to find our way up by the elevator.

Room : The room is okay-ish, just about the right size and the right level we got. But there are no wardrobe for us to put our luggages or something. The whole room is nice, but the mattress sheet is smelly and stained. I have no idea what stain it was. But it was yucky to say the least.

Bathroom : Spacious in size but oh god, why do you need to put semi transparent glasses???????

Breakfast : The choices are really thin. Not much things to try and taste. The seating arrangement is really cramped. For some reason, the taste of the food is a bit lacking.

Service : The freaking time you guys chose to service the elevator in the morning????? It cease to operate for 'maintenance' purposes around 8.30am, right the time when people actually go for breakfast..!!! And I was in level 2, my room is in level 11. How do I got up???? When I went to reception to check on the elevator, the guy was cleaning it super slowly. And the other elevator is broken down.

Other than that, it is a good stay.
