Both were awesome, conveniently next to our room
Amazing
It was an average facility. They put us right at the construction and it was extremely noisy. The concierge was terrible. Our A/C went out and it was very hot. They did send someone to repair it expediently. I will give them that. The staff for the most part were very friendly. Once renovations are complete, it may be a better stay.
Just a three star property at best. Nothing special here.
There was paint splatter all over the bathroom...the smoke detector was right above the stove. So when i cooked or used the toaster it went off. The tv didnt work....the spa never returned my call so i didnt get a massage. The so called concierge only wanted to sell timeshares and book excursions
Morritts provide great food options as well as activities on site which keeps you engaged with staff, family and friends.
Very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed a lovely weekend stay!
One night extension to a week also at Morritts. Poolside unit (1 bedroom) recently renovated and comfortable. Great resort!
The hotel was very nice. It was on the east end so very quiet and that’s something that our family loves. It had everything you needed restaurants beach pools.
They were very courteous and helpful!
Amazing resort! Safe property and friendly staff. Daily activities for the whole family. Night time going-ons as well. You won’t be disappointed!
Like the property but couldn't get any good sleep go to bed late and construction over my head 0830 am for five days that what i paid for....MONEY WAS GIVEN AWAY...MANAGER NEVER RETURNED MY CALL I REQUESTED TO TALK WITH THEM
The resort is on the quiet east end. It's a very tropical area. Highly recommend getting a car. All staff are very helpful & friendly. The resort is laid out so anywhere you go is a short walk. Daily activities. Food at the restaurants is good. Grocery & liquor store is walkable.
We were asked to play extra for the electricity of the room we have already paid for ; It is the first time for have the experience
Amenities were good, but th
Great property. For those who want quietness and seclusion, this is the place.
The only thing I did not like was at check-in. I gave them a copy of my rental and there was no record of it in the Tortuga Club system. After about 15 minutes they got us situated and told me that they had never received any confirmation from Expedia.
Nice resort and beautiful views. Pools are big and doesn’t make you feel on top of other people. A/c and wifi are great!
We stayed here 2 years ago and had a good experience. This time was not the same. Our room was a 1 bedroom ocean view. Perfect location, great view but not this time. Seaweed is abundant at this time. So our first day we checked in and our view was a tractor scraping and pushing seaweed across the sand. To the left there was another piece of heavy equipment and a truck dumping large boulders to build some sort of road or levee on the water. For hours we got to listen to this. We went to use the pool and there is also construction of a new bldg.
back to our room, our shower squealed when we ran the hot water for however long we ran it. Our bed made constant noise whenever you moved so it was very difficult to sleep at all. The rooms have no sound barrier between them so if your neighbors are doing anything you will get to hear it all. We left on our last evening there to go to a different hotel on 7 mile beach because we needed to have a decent nights sleep and be able to enjoy the ocean view. It was worth spending the extra $400 to give up the last night at Morritts to go to the Kimpton resort.
Above all I think the worst part is that the front desk staff are probably the most unfriendly of anywhere on the island. Even checking out the clerk was rude and indifferent. No attempt to try and correct the experience. So we will definitely be back to grand cayman as it is our favorite island but we will not be going to morritts.
They had nothing complimentary at all in the rooms. Better to exchange money and use caymans money for all purchases. There upgrading rooms that I was in a none upgraded one. But in the end I had a great time on my vacation.
