Beautifully maintained property close to everything in Nelson. Amazing amazing coffee right next door at Oso Negro!

Cons:

No complaints!
I would say for folks with mobility issues—stairs are steep and it is uphill to get to the property.

Pros:

This is a beautiful small hotel with a great classic charm, situated right in the center of town. The front desk staff was very friendly. While the room was on the smaller side, it was well-equipped and provided all the necessities. Having breakfast in either the front garden or on the nice back terrace was a highlight of our stay.

A lovely historical property in great condition and a perfect location.
Pros:

We liked the character and ambience. Great location and very clean . Our suite was very spacious, and comfortable.

Cons:

3 parking spaces seemed a bit few for a hotel but they did cover costs for metered parking so it was ok for us. The Folgers and Tim’s coffee pods really are bad coffee but around the corner is Osso Negro coffee shop which was great.

A really good feeling place
Pros:

Beautiful heritage hotel. Large, spacious, beautifully appointed rooms. Exceptionally comfortable king bed. Private treed patio. Centrally located; walk everywhere. Made our stay in Nelson very pleasant.

Cons:

Parking can pose a challenge. There are eight rooms but only four parking spots behind the hotel. "Free" street parking from 15:00-11:00; otherwise paid and limited to 2 hours in front of hotel.
Stairs my be difficult for some people too.

Nice place to stay, close to shops
Pros:

The location was excellent close to the main shopping center. I liked that the room was spacious.

Cons:

There is only 4 parking places in the dedicated spaces in the alley. Of course they were all full when we tried to check in and then had to park on the street. The hotel said they would pay for the meters but that was somewhat inconvenient since there were quite a few stairs to climb back and forth.

Geweldige locatie in de stad; alles is op loopafstand. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en het hotel voelt alsof je thuis bent gekomen. Mooi achterdek waar je in de ochtend of avond kan zitten. Kamer was mooi opgezet en comfortabel. Heerlijke douche.
