Exceptional Value with good Hosts.
Pros:

I would stay here again when visiting Sapa and recommend it to others. It was a good experience and exceptional value for money.

It is well located on the edge of the tourist area halfway between the bus arrival station and the church. A few steps brings you to the lake edge. A flat short walk along the lake brings you to the centre of town and then a few more blocks to the funicular that will take you to the cable car to Fansipan. Cat Cat village is also walkable - going there is downhill a couple of km. Hubby had pneumonia and a sore foot so we walked to Cat Cat village and got a grab back to keep it all very manageable.

The hosts are exceptional. They are used to accommodating early bus arrivals and early bus departures. They will offer early check in where possible and charged us a very small upgrade fee when the only room available for an early check in was an upgraded larger one which we gladly accepted.

The hosts greet you whenever they see you and ensure your needs are being meet. They provided information about tourist sites and will arrange a driver for more distant locations ( sadly hubby was not up to trekking this trip). They arranged our bus from Sapa to Hanoi with pick up at the hotel at a competitive price.

Breakfast was included and had 6 options (eggs, pancakes, pho etc). It was plentiful and delicious). Coffee was good.

Although the room was slightly tired, it was very clean and well maintained as was the reception and foyer area that also contained the breakfast tables. The hotel has a lift and the host assisted with luggage.

Whilst this is not a brand new Ritz, overall I rate this stay exceptional value for a 3 Star experience with exceptional host who work tirelessly and would encourage others to consider. I am sure that you would not be disappointed.

Un régale !!
Pros:

Accueil chaleureux ! Nous avions pris un bus de nuit et même si la chambre n’était pas encore prête nous avons pu prendre une douche et laisser nos affaires jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit disponible. Tout a été mis en place pour que l’on soit mis dans les meilleures circonstances !

Cons:

L’isolation n’est pas parfaite. (A savoir que je suis exigeant à ce niveau et que c’est à l’image de tous les logements que j’ai pu avoir dans le pays)

The hotel Manager was very helpfull in explaining and arranging everything I needed for our short visit to Sapa.
The driver on our first day trip which was arranged by the hotel was also very friendly and helpful

Pros:

Great location. Qiuet street at night. Walking distance to busy part. Lovely owner Lio was very friendly, spoke good English. Very helpful with everything to point you in the right direction.
Large clean room. Nice bathroom. Great value.
Good breakfast made fresh to order. Everything perfect. I would not hesitate to stay again

The pictures on Booking must be from another century 📸✨ because the room I got looked like it was furnished in the 1920s… maybe earlier 🪑.

The wardrobe was broken. The furniture looked extremely old. Nothing matched the photos.

And then there was the sewage smell 🤢🚽 — strong, constant, and impossible to ignore. I told the staff about it. He asked, “Where is the smell?” I took him to the room. He said there was no smell.

Interesting.

I opened the window, closed the door, turned on the fan, left for a few hours… came back. Same smell.

I couldn’t even stay one hour, even though I was charged for the first night. I had to leave and find another hotel.

The funny part? I found a 4-star hotel for almost the same price ⭐⭐⭐⭐ — and surprisingly, it didn’t come with a sewage fragrance included.

Would not recommend.

Pros:

Gostamos da experiência na acomodação ficamos por 5 dias. Ao chegarmos Leo nos recebeu calorosamente e nos ofereceu um delicioso chá com canela.
Também recebemos um upgrade para um ótimo quarto. Também alugamos uma motocicleta por dois dias, e lavamos roupas com ajuda do Leo.
O café da manhã era sempre gostoso, eles tem uma equipe muito gentil.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Property was very close to the Bus station, Lake and restaurants. Breakfast was decent. Front desk team guided us with tours and helped us with competitive rates. Overall a pleasant experience.
